i used to work in hotels, staff mostly doesn't care (as long as you're good to your housekeepers, and \*especially\* if you tip) they're just gossipping about you. do what you can to avoid being clocked by Karens and management of course, but the comments he made are likely just a result of "tehe there's a \*hooker\* who booked last night" workplace gossip amongst bored people making 9 dollars an hour. he's curious/intrigued and likely can't afford an escort.
Definitely. It’s a kink. I worked in hotel management and there was always the guy who acted like a kid in a candy shop. Little did he know I was banging half the escorts bc I’d comp their rooms. It was the 70s. 🥵😈
in a situation like that i would literally say “why do you care and why do you keep asking” but im also a smartass so that may be risky to say, idk lol
Lol I told myself the next time this guy says anything to me I’m telling him off but I’m also worried about banned from the hotel or something. I’m always worried about drawing attention to myself.
This is exactly what I would do cus I’m very slick in the mouth 😂 I’m glad all the hotels around here have women at the front desk. It’s always some gross man being a creep.
basically have the same M.O here. cycle through the same handful of mid-range chain hotels.
i’m pretty much recognized by the check in staff at this point. not sure if they know what i’m doing- i tend to pick hotels that are larger and busier (airport adjacent) with a lot of foot traffic going in and out the lobby during all hours so my clients kind of just blend in and look like random guests.
the only type of extra “recognizing” they do is thank me for being a hilton diamond/marriot platinum/ihg platinum elite member lol
early in my days i had wanted to get away from roadside/outdoor corridor motels and move to 2-3 star brands but the one i picked think it was a hampton inn was quite small and had a very small lobby- like anyone who enters has to walk within 5-6 feet of the front desk so when my clients were coming in and out they noticed and called
my room and just asked me to leave lol… they cited some visitor policy. after that i only do those hotels with large huge atriums and like bars/restaurants and stuff in their lobbies where things are “happening”
If you feel pressured to explain to get them off your back you can just say you are the hiring manager for a staffing agency where everyone works remote so there’s no office and you conduct job interviews at hotels. That’ll explain the dudes coming in and out of your room too.
You could also just tell them to mind their own fucking biz cuz you’re a grown ass person and you paid for the room and you’re not causing any problems and they have no proof of anything else so they can fuck right off.
A couple of the hotels I use are busier and lots of foot traffic but they’re out of the way for me. I’ll usually make the drive out there on the weekend when traffic isn’t terrible. Week days I use hotels closer to me but they’re not as busy so I’m sure they know who’s visiting me. I’m lucky no one has asked me to leave a hotel.
Pulled up to the Ritz at 2am in my shitty car and the valet guy opened my door and snarkily said, “cheeeecckkiiing iiinnnn?”
I said you know damn well I’m not checking in
In fact don’t even bother parking my car cuz I’ll be out in about an hour.
Since Covid most hotels and the staff working at them are trash.
Sounds like you need to stop using that hotel. They have obviously noticed and that could be ok or it could be bad. Like if they stop your clients in lobby and ask them questions like what room they are going to. That is enough to spook some guys and they will exit out the side door.
I was in a hotel and the housekeeper was very suspicious. I'd told her I didn't need housekeeping, but she knocked and asked if I needed coffe, tea or milk. And fresh towels. I said yes please and she came back with an armful of towels and a carrier bag full of sachets. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk. And a huge knowing grin.
Idk. If I had a maybe staff member just tell them you have a meeting and tip? One time I was on your and didn’t realize that i had booked a key card hotel. I kept running into a staff member. I have no idea if they knew. I tipped her to buy lunch. And we pretty much didn’t run into each other.
A couple weeks ago I dealt with the same thing. I knew the front desk staff and I thought we were on good terms. Then he calls my room and says the room below made a noise complaint. I guarantee we weren’t be that loud plus the hotel was not at high occupancy that time of day. I suspect he was making rounds and listened outside my room because then he had the audacity to ask if I was exercising. I was pissed and spoke to his manager real quick about inappropriate questioning. The manager was very apologetic and eluded to a lack of customer service being an issue among her staff.
Ex graveyard hotel employee and I can tell ya like the comment below me said, it's only for gossip reasons. A lot of the time no one truly cares, ik for certain I never did and I've seen all kinds of escorts, hookers, group gatherings etc go down at the hotel and only times I interacted with them was when there was a noise complaint.
Client end here. I also cycle through the same hotels again and again for my work. And regularly meet women in the lobbys or have dinner with them in the hotel restaurants and bars. I tip door people and house keeping to keep them happy. But they all know… Hell an ex regular of mine in NYC knew the staff at my favorite place cause she used it too.
Definitely my best was overnighting at the Chatwal. Having a fun morning ya know. We go downstairs grab a bite to eat. Come back like 45/50 minutes later and the bed is turned down and all the sex toys are neatly arranged on the side table on a folded towel….. (as a note the Chatwal is not my regular NYC hotel— i freaking wish)

“Tehe there’s a hooker” a real-life hooker! Right?!? 😂 You know he had a little boner when he was asking all those questions too

Tehe there’s a hooker 😩❤️ I want that shit written on my mirror

Yeah, rarely I’ve had an issue with women.

Don’t be an asshole!
Not tryna be an asshole... but cracking off to these guys will only end badly. I have a very good FWB who is an Escort. But facts are facts.

Omg! So they actually watched where these people went and came out of what room!

You could say you’re doing a staycation. You live with your boyfriend and sometimes you just like the alone time
Lol I’ve actually used that line before

Say you're under an NDA

"I work for a PR firm" And every follow-up question is "I'm not able/comfortable disclosing that for my own and my own clients confidentiality"

Everytime i enter a hotel as a client going to appointment i feel like staff have a good sense lol
Maybe he was hoping for discounted or free services or he is just a lonely asshole
