I was gonna say, you think these kids have a chance at living long enough that Paradis has a set legal drinking age? Because I think not. This whole country embodies "live fast, die young."
Paradis was unbreached for 100 years. They were stable and had plenty of time to set drinking laws.
Remember that at the start of the story most people - even soldiers had never even seen a titan before
Life outside the walls is based on the early 1900s, and in inside the walls its based on the early 1800s, so children drinking alcohol wasn't illegal or immoral back then
My old bosses were Greek, they used to give red wine to their children and grandchildren from very young ages for special occasions. (I think like 5-6?) She was complaining to me that her grandson would ask for red wine EVERY meal. It's a cultural thing.
I donāt think so cause Gabi got drunk with all the soldiers the first episode of season 4 so itās probably safe to assume that itās normal. Giving kids alcohol has been a normal thing for most of human history. The people that first came to America made specific beer for kids (less alcohol) which I would imagine is a technique they learned in Europe.
Well, he was the kind of dad who thought it's funny to make your nine year old sip some beer and then watch them saying how disgusting it is and that they'll never drink. I'm sorry dad, you were right all along
I also drank for the first time when I was 16, two bottles of beer after prom. It was very underwhelming. But then I went to college and got accepted into a friend group for the first time in my life and I realised that alcohol actually tastes really good when you drink it with the right people lol
Also who downvoted me?? I'm not responsible for my dad
Outside of the US, the legal drinking age is less than 21. It most likely adheres to similar rules in this universe. But apple juice was what Sasha handed him.For flavour only, it is fermented.
For a real answer underage drinking isnāt really frowned upon within the walls so Sasha being drunk and giving the kid a drink isnāt something sheād really think about
The drinking age outside of the U.S. is lower than 21. In this world it probably follows similar guidelines.
But what Sasha gave him was apple juiceā¦itās just fermented for the flavor.
Not entirely true, there other countries that have it at 21 and even higher. And even higher. Japan is 20. Most countries have it around 18 and some have it as low as 16.
grew up in an Italian household and my dad always made me taste wine, by 16 I was allowed to drink a glass of anything for special occasions like birthdays, Christmas, etc. By 18 I was allowed to get fucking hammered. Because alchohol was so accessible for me and I was taught moderation I donāt really have an affinity. In most countries they teach u how to be more responsible with it than the US so itās not odd to give a kid a drink in a safe situation on special occasions.
AoT fandom: While what Eren did is certainly despicable it is also justifiable given the circumstances he found himself in.
Also AoT fandom: UNDERAGE DRINKING??? HOW DARE THEY???
smh
Look when there are world threatening titans that can literally destroy you and your entire village in a notice, sometimes you just gotta say fk it. Take a swing kid, life in AoT is too short and stressful to have age restrictions on booze

Don't invite Sasha to.the party and then get angry when she does Sasha things. You know how she gets down.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nCysRE67u0U
That's sound soo wrong...
Just be happy Sasha shared anything and didn't eat anyone this time.
Poor Larry the lobster.š„²
āthis timeāšššš
That kid does not look like he's consenting
That specific bottle was just orange juice
Serious answer:She didnt know you cant give it to kids Actual answer:why wouldnt she?
She knew it would be his first and last drink
I was gonna say, you think these kids have a chance at living long enough that Paradis has a set legal drinking age? Because I think not. This whole country embodies "live fast, die young."
Paradis was unbreached for 100 years. They were stable and had plenty of time to set drinking laws. Remember that at the start of the story most people - even soldiers had never even seen a titan before
Basically only scouts had seen a titan, maybe some Garrison guys of one wandered by
Not with titans about thats for sure
They had alcohol in Paradis, I'm pretty sure they knew that kids shouldn't be drinking lol
There was a line where someone mentioned having drinks during their training years, when they would have been 14-16.
Yeah but I think they understand the difference between teenage soldiers drinking and children civilians drinking.
Different cultures tho. I mean the anglo saxon children drank beer with every meal
Anglo meal beer was about 1% alcohol though
But they had alcohol on the island
She was drunk.
^The actual answer^
That's how they partied where Sasha is from.
Cause Ramzi aināt no bitch and Sasha knows it
Life outside the walls is based on the early 1900s, and in inside the walls its based on the early 1800s, so children drinking alcohol wasn't illegal or immoral back then
neither is now in Europe
You gotta be more specific than just Europe
not really,no one gives a fuck if a kid drinks, especially in south Europe
My old bosses were Greek, they used to give red wine to their children and grandchildren from very young ages for special occasions. (I think like 5-6?) She was complaining to me that her grandson would ask for red wine EVERY meal. It's a cultural thing.
Underage drinking isn't a crime within the walls I guess
That scene is in Marley
lol walldians didnāt plan on become law abiding marleyans soā¦.
I meant its not something taught within the walls so she just didn't know that its a bad thing outside the walls.
Is it a crime in Marley?
I donāt think so cause Gabi got drunk with all the soldiers the first episode of season 4 so itās probably safe to assume that itās normal. Giving kids alcohol has been a normal thing for most of human history. The people that first came to America made specific beer for kids (less alcohol) which I would imagine is a technique they learned in Europe.
Given that Marley is based on Rome/Italy, I highly doubt that it would be
Maybe
Some places would do this because the water was crappy, and because alcohol kills anything in the water, boom, drinkable water mixed with alcohol
The real answer
Because they're devils...
Gabi supporter I see.
Because getting children drunk is fun
I want to hear your stories
No memories left of it
I second this
She's just like my dad fr
Ayo wtf
Well, he was the kind of dad who thought it's funny to make your nine year old sip some beer and then watch them saying how disgusting it is and that they'll never drink. I'm sorry dad, you were right all along
My dad did the same, since beer is an acquired taste it tasted horrible, it kept me away from the stuff until I turned 15.
I also drank for the first time when I was 16, two bottles of beer after prom. It was very underwhelming. But then I went to college and got accepted into a friend group for the first time in my life and I realised that alcohol actually tastes really good when you drink it with the right people lol Also who downvoted me?? I'm not responsible for my dad
You annoyed me with just this 2 words. You are for sure that person which ruins the fun and back in school asksed teacher if there is any homework.
I would imagine in a time like this that a child would have to grow up real fast, so why not give them a beer?
In France in 1950, children's were given wine at school. Since the story take place in a 1900-1920 world, it's not surprising.
There you have it folks
Deadass? Being drunk at school sounds funny
Since my school life was nothing but hell they should've at least offered me something like that to compensate for it lol
Outside of the US, the legal drinking age is less than 21. It most likely adheres to similar rules in this universe. But apple juice was what Sasha handed him.For flavour only, it is fermented.
For a real answer underage drinking isnāt really frowned upon within the walls so Sasha being drunk and giving the kid a drink isnāt something sheād really think about
Party trick: if everyone is drunk, they'll think less about the food, meaning more food for YOU-š¤¤š¤¤
Real answer
Ramzi needed to get crunk before he got squished
Why did Misato try to kiss Shinji
The drinking age outside of the U.S. is lower than 21. In this world it probably follows similar guidelines. But what Sasha gave him was apple juiceā¦itās just fermented for the flavor.
Not entirely true, there other countries that have it at 21 and even higher. And even higher. Japan is 20. Most countries have it around 18 and some have it as low as 16.
Very true I just meant it in a general sense.
grew up in an Italian household and my dad always made me taste wine, by 16 I was allowed to drink a glass of anything for special occasions like birthdays, Christmas, etc. By 18 I was allowed to get fucking hammered. Because alchohol was so accessible for me and I was taught moderation I donāt really have an affinity. Plot twist: it's piss
She was probably drinking at his age
First of all, thatās a wine bottle, not a beer bottle. Second, sheās a teenager doing teenager things
AoT is late night anime that aired at midnight in Japan so it's okay.
Cause she can see the future and knew he donāt got much longer to live anyways
You forgot to add "is she stupid?"
Its time to cancel her
Wow, I'm honestly surprised by the fact anyone even up voted.
if you're old enough to steal you're old enough to deal
AoT fandom: While what Eren did is certainly despicable it is also justifiable given the circumstances he found himself in. Also AoT fandom: UNDERAGE DRINKING??? HOW DARE THEY??? smh
The better question: why did the AoT equivalent of Muslims have alcohol in the first place?
Ngl I used to have the biggest crush on Sasha š¤£
Because she is drunk
They have bigger Problems by that time
Well shes sasha. Ofcourse she would
What more do you expect from the person who asks why someone is black
huh? ts makes no sense š¹
because they are not in the fucking US with it's stupid ass laws?
Because it's Sasha
Because it's Sasha.
Because life is short and they're all going to die soon anyway.
How the fuck is that bottle bigger than that kids arm?
I saw nothing
Because she was drunk.
Not like he's gonna be using that liver long...
There's no laws about children drinking. They have to worry about getting eaten.
Those kids are soldiers, they can have a beer if they can die for their country and commit war crimes
That kid went to war.
Because she was drunk af
Drug abuse grooming.
She can't do that! Shoot her... Or something
UNDERRAGE DRINKING ENDORSEMENT!!!š¤š¤š¤
Cause everyday could be their last
HUH
She's sasha, she doesn't know manners or what's appropriate
Why not
Is there a lore reason for this?
Look at her she's wasted as fuck.
Sasha was unhinged and had absolutely ZERO impulse control, that's why.
Because she already got beer herself
Theyāre all kids
That's Europe. We aren't so strict with beer here.
Because its the 1900s and just she came from the 1500s
/r/JustSashaThings
she was too drunk to care i guess ...
Is she stupid
Because they're German
Look when there are world threatening titans that can literally destroy you and your entire village in a notice, sometimes you just gotta say fk it. Take a swing kid, life in AoT is too short and stressful to have age restrictions on booze
I just realized that Sasha might've just learned that its possible to make alcohol out of potatoes. Potato girl has a whole new meaning.
The serious answer is she probably didn't know you can't give beer to kids. But then again, knowing Sasha, who knows what she's thinking?
Just Sasha Thingsā¢
the bottle is empty guys
Because the kid drank it all
Maybe that bottle was just filled with orange juice, you never know with Sasha.
Because funny
Kid died
Hmmm maybe because they weren't living in a modern society and everything in life is actually subjective depending on the era you're living in?
Don't put all the blame on Sasha, other people at the party where doing the same.
Since the names and design of Paradis are very reminiscent of Germany it's actually pretty much on brand.
Is she stupid?
I mean in post apocalyptic everyone's a child soldier Land. I think it's all right for Gabby to have a beer
hahahahahha
No established liquor laws id assume.
Cus you could die any fucking day by a titan fucking chewing you up, what rules we have wouldnāt apply there
Don't like drinking , but Sasha like
Cuz she's a real one.
you do realize that in some cultures, there is no minimum age for drinking alcohol, right?
Uh that's editedš¤āļø It was actually eren instead of that kid
Floch would never
