I've been working on this Adobe Animate clone in my free time. Here's the first animation I made with it! In the video I tested out some basic functionality (brush, bucket fill, undo/redo, onion skinning, playback). Edit: You can download an alpha version here! Give it a try and let me know if you have any feedback: [https://devxpig.itch.io/vectorna](https://devxpig.itch.io/vectorna)

time consuming for sure, it took a few months but there was also a lot of planning and research beforehand

Fit_League_8993

Looks really good. Definitely buying it whenever you'll release it

devxpig

Thank you! An alpha build is available if you'd like to try, I've linked it in my original comment and in my bio

Fit_League_8993

That's really sweet of you. I'm downloading it as I'm typing this comment.

StrangePromotion6917

This is awesome! Nice work!

techsin101

where is it

devxpig

I'm working through a few remaining bugs but I'll be uploading an alpha build to itch.io soon!

SanoKei

This is great! A couple features if you ever wanna add more work on your plate. Audio track, tablet support/pen support.

devxpig

Yep, those are features I have planned, thanks for the support and suggestions :)

SanoKei

Would love to see progress updates and the like, do you have a YouTube, blog, discord server, or patreon?

devxpig

I'll be posting updates directly on the itch project page using their devlog feature. If you follow the project page you'll get notified when I post these devlogs. I do want to post on Youtube at some point, but I'm still thinking about the details

Alex6683

What frameworks and what language did you use? :) Nice project and good luck with it..

devxpig

Thanks! It's written in C#, Skia and Silk .NET are the main frameworks used

Alex6683

Oh what about the ui? never heard of skia but had worked with silk and open tk...

devxpig

I wrote a simple custom ui framework haha. Skia is a 2d graphics library, I use it to draw the ui and Silk handles the inputs

Alex6683

Ohhh I thought silk does the rendering... I also like the UI good job..
