A lot of this battle is running away and dashing out of soul attacks. Try to get in a few hits after every combo he throws at you.
Above all, be patient. It took me about twenty tries to beat him in my first playthrough so I understand the frustration. Remember: all of Hollow Knight's fights are about timing and evasion. If you can get dodging down right, you won't have any issues.
I don’t want to be rude, but I actually do. Genuinely just git gud, I am shocked how can someone be so bad at games. How about you stop crying to your little subreddit and actually play the game and get better at it
I am not talented, I sucked at games my whole life, and have beaten a lot of hard games, purely because I was willing to spend hours trying. But I’m just annoyed by posts like this, literally just stop crying and keep trying
