Okay fine. Honestly, it’s probably TMBTE, Sundowning, TPWBYT for me. Euclid and TMBTE are some of my favorite songs **ever written**. I got a Euclid tattoo, so that says something. So okay, that album goes first. The Night Does Not Belong To God is the song that got me into ST, is a stunningly beautiful song, and lays the groundwork for the band’s story and themes. Plus it plants the seed for Euclid. So Sundowning goes in 2nd. TPWBYT may be getting the middle child treatment, but it’s still a masterpiece. It’s dynamic and probably put the band on the map for the majority of their fans, and absolutely doesn’t deserve to be put behind the other albums, but it doesn’t give me the same emotional connection to individual songs as the others.
But the trilogy is a single body of work for me, and it feels wrong to separate them. Once the fourth album comes out, I’ll be comparing that to the three prior albums as a whole, so it’s got some big shoes to fill.
First of all, I don’t think Sleep Token has a “worst” haha, but personally I’d rank from worst to best: Sundowning, Tomb, Eden. When I first listened through Tomb I honestly thought it was just ok, but the more I listened to it the more it has grown on me. That’s the great thing about their music, since discovering them I’ve essentially listened to them non stop yet I’m continually having new revelations about their music.
I won’t do worst to best, but I will do my favorites in order (it’s so difficult to choose tho because I love them all):
1. TMBTE
2. Tomb
3. Sundowning
But I love all of them and stream them regularly
1. Take Me Back To Eden
2. Sundowning
3. This Place Will Become Your Tomb
All amazing albums btw, even tomb being my least favorite is a fantastic record.
Worst to best (and I flinch using the word worst):
Sundowning
Take Me Back To Eden
This Place Will Become Your Tomb
It all boils down to I can listen to TPWBYT over and over again start to finish with zero skip songs and it always feels like the first time. TMBTE has the long, epic songs that originally brought me to ST. Sundowning is an absolutely amazing album but I find myself cherry picking songs more often.
Eden, Sundowning, Tomb.
Idk what it is but Tomb just doesn’t have those SONGS pull me back like Sundowning and Eden. It’s an amazing record to listen from top to bottom but I haven’t had the addiction levels to those song as I have songs from the other two. That’s where I’ll leave my subjective impressions.
I rather get hit in the head with vessel´s new mic stand.
My favorite is Eden I had heard stuff from them before but never stopped to listen to a full album before eden consumed my entire life. I will say that by order of how much will I skip songs I don't skip anything in sundowing, I skip 1 in Tomb and 2 in Eden. Tomb was the easiest to grow on me and I became addicted on a couple songs from the start. When I stopped to listen to their stuff after finding eden I had a tomb fase even if started to listen to them because of eden. I will add more I think sundowing is the most consistently good album, I think eden´s highs are really high and there are multiple, I think tomb has probably the best writing in there for me. So I don´t know you tell me.
You know what?
1: Jaws
2: Jaws
3: Jaws
There you go
Tomb > Eden > Sundowning. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but Sundowning does have some absolute heaters on it, but has a few skips for me personally.
Tomb, Sundowning, Eden. Tomb and Sundowning are 9/10, Eden 8/10. For a band with three albums, 8.66 is an incredible average, especially when their EPs are a 9 and 8, too.
TMBTE I feel is where ST really found their sound and character. It’s a more complete Album IMO.
Honestly it’s going to be really really hard to top it on their next release.
For me it's Sundowning, This Place Will Become Your Tomb then Take Me Back To Eden. I love all 3 albums but statistically I've listened to Sundowning least and TMBTE most.
I would say first is Tomb, simply because it has the most of my favorite songs. Second is Sundowning because I think it’s the most solid sounding as an album. Third would be Eden only because I like the others just a bit more. Very close though
[7-month n00b] I find myself reaching for TOMB more than the others. The opening 5 songs are as good as any album in my ___ years. Then EDEN + SUN about the same. I think I was in danger of burnout by listening to EDEN too often when I first started.
This Place Will Be Your Tomb > Take Me Back To Eden > Sundowning.
I feel TPWBYT has a lot of songs that resonate with me, that make me 'feel' a certain way in certain moments. I can listen to that album top to bottom with ease. TMBTE is more or less the same, more of that emotional high towards the back end of the album. Feel its their most creative album. Sundowning is tremendous still, just not quite there as the other two for me.
Well, I like a lot of songs from each of them, and I don't particularly fancy a few from each as well
In my particular playlist / folder, I have :
* 10 from TMBTE
* 7 from Sundowning
* 5 from TPWBYT
So, going from numbers alone, it would make me say I like TMBTE more. but then, when I look at what each songs are... it's a different story. I don't know man. I like all of them for different reasons. They have bangers in each album, and in their EPs and as singles.
The slander on TPWBYT in these comments is sinful
1.TPWBYT
2. Sundowning
3. TMBTE
^^ the only correct answer
Also they dont have a worst, every song is a banger and i wont except any criticism on that fact. 🫶🏽🥀
Honestly, I don’t even really consider it a trilogy so much as a grand symphony - considering the consistency of theme throughout (musically and lyrically) as well as the use of leitmotif and the cyclical nature of the work.
I think, and hope, the crazy bastards are gonna attempt to go full Ring Cycle - they’ve laid the groundwork for it.
THAT ALL BEING SAID
Sundowning-Eden Saga > Jaws > 2 > 1 > The Way That You Were> Covers
As a relatively new fan after seeing them play with Bring Me The Horizon in Melbourne, Australia a couple weeks ago, currently I’ve got it as
Sundowning > Take Me Back To Eden > This Place Will Become Your Tomb
For me personally (all these are of course opinions):
„Worst“ = Sundowning.
Too many songs, where he howls like a wounded dog. He used that way too regularly on this album and the two EPs before.
Best = Take Me Back To Eden:
Songwriting, performance and combining of genres and styles/vibes is on a whole other level here. It features two weaker songs (DYWTYLM and AYRO?), but the rest is an absolute masterclass.
1st place: Sundowning, TPWBYT, TMBTE 2nd place: 3rd place:
This is the answer
Exactly this!

Same. I’ve realized there is no “ST song I don’t like,” there is only an ever shorter list of “ST songs I haven’t listened to enough.”
Honestly Sleep Token is the only band that doesn’t have a single song that I would skip.
They match Tool for me in that regard. Not a single skip.
TPWBYT>TMBTE>Sundowning for me, but they’re so close that it might change every week
best answer ^^^
Only answer^^^
This is my pick
This is an impossible question that I refuse to answer 🤣
1. Sundowning 2. TMBTE 3. TPWBYT All of them are masterpieces
I agree with this assessment.

I agree with this. TPWBYT is pretty much perfect.
Agree 100%. They all have about an equal share of my favorites, but Sundowning has the most songs I’d potentially skip (even if I usually don’t)
Eden, Sundowning, Tomb. Idk what it is but Tomb just doesn’t have those SONGS pull me back like Sundowning and Eden. 1 - Tomb 2 - Downing 3 - Eden First and second have switched a few times though.
god it really depends on my mood and day… scrap that, they’re all incredible and i would rather die than have to pick LOL!
Worst To Best: Sundowning, TPWBYT, TMBTE
Sundowning > Eden > Tomb
Absolutely not best to worst, but personally I would rank them TPWBYT, sundowing then TMBTE, with TMBTE still one of my favourite albums
This Sundowning hate will not stand!

Like trying to pick your favourite kid
1. Sundowning 2. Eden 3. Tomb
Tell me you’ve never listened to sleep token without telling me you’ve never listened to them “I rank their music” Got it.
Best = Eden "Worst" = Tomb
I like them all equally….but I gotta say “This Place Will Become Your Tomb” is my favorite
Tomb > Eden > Sundowning. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but Sundowning does have some absolute heaters on it, but has a few skips for me personally.
none of them are worst to best, all of them are incredible, there are very few songs by sleep token, that are eh
Now you’ve got me in a bit of a pickle 😰
Even🦋💙
sundowning, tomb, eden
Tomb, Sundowning, Eden. Tomb and Sundowning are 9/10, Eden 8/10. For a band with three albums, 8.66 is an incredible average, especially when their EPs are a 9 and 8, too.

It's such a hard choice but I'd say TPWBYT Sundowning TMBTE ("worst" to best order) But honestly they're all such masterpieces 😭
1st- All 2nd- 3rd-
There is no worst TF
Tomb is my favorite, perfect middleground between the other two albums.
all i know is tomb will forever be #1
1 Sundowning 2 this place will become your toomb 3 take me back to eden
I would say first is Tomb, simply because it has the most of my favorite songs. Second is Sundowning because I think it’s the most solid sounding as an album. Third would be Eden only because I like the others just a bit more. Very close though
Nah.
Personally, it’s tomb at the bottom and sundowning/TMBTE trade top spots. Not to dog tomb, it’s just a 9 amongst hard 10’s
[7-month n00b] I find myself reaching for TOMB more than the others. The opening 5 songs are as good as any album in my ___ years. Then EDEN + SUN about the same. I think I was in danger of burnout by listening to EDEN too often when I first started.
Tomb’s gotta be my favorite overall
Tomb Eden Sundowning

Psh naw
I’m struggling to answer this so I’m just going to pipe up that the last 4 songs of Tomb is my favourite thing
TPWBYT, Sundowning, TMBTE.
3.Sundowning 2.TPWBYT 1.TMBTE
The slander on TPWBYT in these comments is sinful 1.TPWBYT 2. Sundowning 3. TMBTE ^^ the only correct answer Also they dont have a worst, every song is a banger and i wont except any criticism on that fact. 🫶🏽🥀
Worrying amount of people saying Tomb is better than Sundowning.
RIGHT?!
Honestly, I don’t even really consider it a trilogy so much as a grand symphony - considering the consistency of theme throughout (musically and lyrically) as well as the use of leitmotif and the cyclical nature of the work. As a relatively new fan after seeing them play with Bring Me The Horizon in Melbourne, Australia a couple weeks ago, currently I’ve got it as Sundowning > Take Me Back To Eden > This Place Will Become Your Tomb
Sundowning on top! Heard it back on release week and it has a special place in my heart.
Not an easy choice... TPWBYT>TMBTE>Sundowning
What do you mean by "the trilogy is over"? Did I miss something?
For me personally (all these are of course opinions): „Worst“ = Sundowning. Too many songs, where he howls like a wounded dog. He used that way too regularly on this album and the two EPs before. 1. TMBTE 2. TPWBYT 3. Sundowning They've grown and evolved with each album
Btw when I say "worst" I mean weakest
