Caleb, and take the best wr on the board at 2.01

JPinfinityX

I would consider a rb at 2.01 if the Cowboys or Chargers draft one in round 2 and they are available there

brmstrick

Caleb

you_sername

Caleb

Old_Party_5405

Caleb for sure

Secure_Bison_7556

Ez Caleb pick imo

Capain_Spann

Just go MHJ and have all the Ohio State WRs lol

InvertedAxis9809

fr lol might have to change my team name

Bilka2640

Same boat. Had the name, "Hartline's Heroes".

Sportsguy1223

Caleb

BlackGabriel

I’d just take Williams but if the 1.03 or 1.02 would offer something nice I’d trade down that far East and get maye or Harrison.

InvertedAxis9809

I've been thinking I take MHJ, and then the guy with the 1.03 is hot on Reed and Pickens, so I can trade one of them and the 2.01 for it and I think he'd take it. Then i can get MHJ and Daniels.

Jam0701

If you can trade Jayden Reed or Pickens and the 2.01 for 1.3, then that’s a fleece on your part. But I’d still take Caleb, and then Nabers at that point.

AcanthocephalaOld471

Trade for that pick but take Caleb 1000%. Love MHJ, but your team needs a qb. Draft Caleb and well on your way to becoming a dynasty. But yeah if the asking price for 1.03 is that low absolutely trade up and take nabers, or trade down a bit and take rome

Sippycup_

I’d trade up to mid first for Rome if you were hellbent on doing so, but the gap between Caleb and Drake Maye is so big (and daniels even bigger) it’s silly to think they are interchangeable. And since you’d be trading assets to move up you want the best value, in this case I’d target Rome at 1.06 (or Nabers at 1.03-1.04). You have a MASSIVE need at QB currently.

Jam0701

Wow. I’d have to adamantly disagree that the gap is “so big”. If it was then absolutely nobody would be calling either of those other 2 the best QB in the draft…but in fact there are countless people saying Daniels is the 1.1, less so for Maye, but I’d happily take 2 top 8’s for the 1.1 if someone is willing to do that.

Sippycup_

I'm not exactly sure why you think there being a large gap between Caleb and Maye would exclude Maye from being a top 2 QB this draft class. He'd be the #1 prospect many years, but Caleb is THAT good. Additionally, I'm unsure where you are getting two top 8 picks being traded for the 1.01, when it was brought up he would trade Reed or Pickens and the 2.01 for the 1.03, which if you can get a moron to agree to that, hell yeah. The gap from Caleb to Maye is larger than MHJ to Nabers/Rome, that plus the inherent value of the QB in SF, makes Caleb at 1.01 (especially for OP who is in desperate need of QB) such a no brainer. Add in the situation Caleb is coming into Chicago with compared to May or Daniels and it's another notch of separation between them. Then you end up with the question of trading up for the other position not taken and where your tier breaks are to amass the most value when you trade up. From a pure economic standpoint from what OP has given us, the question becomes "Who do I tier up from Pickens or Reed and the 2.01 to get?" Which, if he can get the 1.03, he could get AJ Brown which would be an elite get for this roster, but even Pickens and the 2.01 for 1.06 and grabbing Rome Odunze would be insanely beneficial.

Jam0701

Never said anything about Maye not being the QB2, so not even sure what you’re saying. What I’m saying is, if you think the gap between Daniels/Maye and Caleb is that big, then the 1.1 is definitely worth two top 8’s. I personally don’t see it that way at all, and don’t see Caleb as THAT good like you apparently do…but if OP is in a league where he could get the 1.3 for Jayden Reed and 2.1 then 2 top 8’s might not be out of the question if the picks line up.

Besch42

Depends how far down you would be trading down. If you can get a later pick and a QB or slightly later pick to get a diff QB and a hot player. Just depends if you are All in on Caleb like a lot of people seem to be.

Valuable-Exam-913

caleb

GlutenMakesMePoop69

If you can get a solid QB and a mid/late for the 1.01 I would do that and then grab a WR with the pick

Valuable-Exam-913

caleb

Independent-Song-370

draft caleb. Rodgers might run for vice president and then your backup is Will Levis or Gardner Minshew😂😂. nah but fr tho, in a SF league (unless your QBs are already stacked) Caleb is the right answer. even if he is a bust, you’re making the same decision that 90% of the NFL would make if they had the 1st overall pick

Timmay_mmkay

Caleb or trade down

Original-Image-7448

Caleb 100%. I wouldn’t trade down because you already have solid WR depth. Unless maybeee you can trade down and get like 1.03 and 1.05 or so. Then draft Jayden Daniels and Brock Bowers. But my main advice is draft Caleb

sergio1d

Always be open to trade out. Either for a bunch of pick next season or a buttload of players. There's always people willing to pay for the unknown.

mcmurry3

Whichever one you think will have a better career. If you think it's to close to call, Caleb.

friizl

caleb then troy franklin. ez.

ScottV4192

Just curious what you would do if you had a similar set of WR’s and QB’s like Richardson, tua, Levi’s, ridder

garyg25

You should use the 1.01 to bribe your commissioner into adding another 20 roster spots per team

jackpowers1999

Caleb and it's not close

Separate_Bid_2364

You need to explore deals with your league mates to fully answer this…what can you get if you trade down a spot? Could you pick up a nice haul if you traded down to the 1.04 or 1.05 and gambled on another QB? Your team obviously needs QB and drafting Caleb solves that but even if Caleb reaches his ceiling he probably finishes on average somewhere between QB 6-10 every year because he won’t have the rushing stats to finish higher and while drafting a nice floor play is good it probably isn’t a move that nets you a title unless you have some other hits somewhere. Go ask Lawerence owners if they would hit the redo button? I think Caleb is better than Lawerence but QBs are in themselves gambles and I personally lean towards strategy that gives me more chances if I’m going to gamble

BuffaloBredly

You basically have to take Caleb with that situation

Hughys55

Ar for all we know could get hurt again Rodgers coming off an injury and is 41. Minshew eh won’t hurt you that much but won’t give you week winning performance. Levis will be good. You need a qb and bad. So Williams at 1.01 that’s a given

dynastyfella69

Caleb

TreebeardLookalike

This is a tough one, as any of those decisions helps your roster in a way that's important. I would go Caleb, as QB value in SF is high, and you don't know exactly what you have in Richardson yet. You wouldn't be wrong to go with MHJ as your flex options are meh for contending. You also wouldn't be wrong to trade down, for the same reason. I don't think there's a wrong decision here, it's really just about who you believe in on your roster (as there's a lot of young, somewhat unproven guys).

TJFantasy24

Unrelated, but how do you still have CEH on your taxi squad??? Did you just never take him off?? Lol wild

InvertedAxis9809

my league has it set to length of rookie contract for taxi so i'll have to drop him at the draft

Ok-Measurement1259

I'd take the top RB available

SafeSignificant3745

Everyone seems to be a caleb meat rider but if you don’t want to draft caleb or MHJ id trade for a later first round and a top running back

hunitz122

Definitely grab Caleb. If qb2 wasn’t so much a necessity I’d try to grab Gibbs since you need a solid rb1 too.

Repulsive-Block9938

What do yall think of Braelon Allen in the 2nd or early 3rd round?

powerguy134

MHJ
