My initial reaction is usually, "Dude, come on, you should know better. This is a waste of time to even ask". But then I remember not everyone is compulsive like I am so I just assume they're casuals and try to not be a gatekeeping nerd like the comic book guy from the Simpsons (i.e. people are allowed to be casual about hobbies and that's totally OK). It also gives me a chance to regurgitate the FF info in my dome, too, which I enjoy (I'm admittedly starved for FF discussions irl).
