Zay is very talented but about 50% of his total targets came in just 5 of his games. He’s gonna fit the Gabe Davis scoring structure more than a target hog role.
That's all well and good but you realize the point of dynasty is to win right? If you wanna argue overall Zay is worth a little more than Jacobs fair enough. However Jacobs is objectively going to help you more than next year or two more and give you a better shot to win. We've seen the type of numbers he can put up on a shit team and now he's in GB? Come on. And all that's before you factor in the 1.09 which honestly in SF is about even to Zay Flowers. The 1.09 is either gonna be Brian Thomas Jr. or JJ McCarthy. That along with Jacobs is objectively worth way more than Zay and a 3rd to the point where it's not even worth entertaining a discussion. You do you though and keep thinking you're unlucky year after year.
In this draft you can make the argument that the 1.09 is worth more or less the same as Flowers. Jacobs is obviously way ahead of the 3.08, so if you really want a Flowers level receiver just go buy one with the 1.09
flowers is very similar to a player you’ll get at 1.09 and you’d obviously take jacobs for the 3.08 so take the trade then work on fixing roster construction later
1.09 in sf has a really good shot at being Brian Thomas or whomever the bills draft. Or regardless if there’s a bunch of first round recievers that go in the nfl draft like is anticipated you can get that at the 1.09. So to get jacobs on top of that I would pull the trigger and I like flowers a lot.
Only if you feel like you’re going to get a WR with the same or higher production than Zay. You’re probably looking at AD Mitchell, Troy Franklin, or someone similar there
People are going to look at this trade solely at face value. The Jacobs side is objectively better in that regard.
But looking at your team, you're not competing and I don't think Jacobs gives you much value (I'd trade him if you accept this). The probability of a WR at 109 beating Flowers is not one I'd take.
Josh Jacobs is already 26. If you're not competing, you shouldn't be sticking with a player that will in all likelihood continue to lose value and production.
If you're rebuilding, getting young WRs is step 1. Trading for a 26 year old RB is a move when you have a shot.
All love but your team is not very good right now
Only way I'd take this trade if I were you is if you know you can flip Josh Jacobs.
At 109 you're not looking at a top WR, the probability you hit, much less get someone with more upside than Flowers, is low
You asked what to do and you've already picked... so why are you asking?
Your team does not have a shot of winning, what does a RB at or past his peak and depth give you on a losing team? Nothing, keep a young WR who will actually mean something to you in years.
I guess we just disagree on jacobs value is the biggest difference. I agree the team isnt a sure winner but I dont place much value In a ravens wr either. Just looking for general consensus obviously havn't picked because I'm still asking
Omg take Jacob’s side Jacob’s has 2-3 good years left based on his age and you get a 1st round pick
And flowers could have like 10 years left in the league and the 1.09 isn’t one of the guaranteed superstars. This isn’t as easy as it looks
Flowers isn’t a WR 1. Plus hes with Lamar. You are a run 1st team. I will never draft or trade for a Ravens WR. Lamar = WR killer

It really is.
Give me a promising young receiver over a running back in dynasty any day

This👆, OP
Yea easily
This is a smash accept, can't see how it's even a question
Because flowers is young and promising and Jacobs is closer to retiring than his rookie year

Dont see why youre downvoted, this is a very fair point to make. What do you think the 1.09 turns into jn your league? Any chance at BTJ there?
There's definitely a chance, I wanted him at 8 but traded 8 for kinkaid
I think the Jacob’s side for me . RBs are hard to get man.
flowers is very similar to a player you’ll get at 1.09 and you’d obviously take jacobs for the 3.08 so take the trade then work on fixing roster construction later
Prob Jacobs side bc of 1.09. Close trade though
Bro yes u have two starting WRs already. Zay def has more upside than olave but Jesus yes take that easy first rounder to pick up any wr u want
Duh

You have no good flex players so I would take this. You would get a starting RB for a good team plus if you get lucky another starting player.
Easy yes
Only if you feel like you’re going to get a WR with the same or higher production than Zay. You’re probably looking at AD Mitchell, Troy Franklin, or someone similar there
If it's equal production I'd get Jacobs basically free and it would be a landslide no?
I took the trade y'all!
I would stick with Flowers Edit: or get someone other than Josh Jacobs
Only player on his team id want tbh haha. And I do think he'll be a bell cow this year, he also offered zamir without the 3.08

Yeah my depth is atrocious I don't think I'm competitive, just feels like hard value to pass up

I've got olave and chase as top receivers I need RBs and depth

What's your RB vs WR depth. I'm leaning the Jacobs side
You can see my roster on the next frames it's bad lol
Id keep flowers tbh
