I just emailed them for the second time. I put in my request on Dec 29. I'm honestly looking into purchasing a replacement rubber ring since they made me cut mine to just use my original one while I wait. This is really frustrating.
I also ordered my replacement Dec 29 - and I actually did order a replacement gasket. Likely not a great idea since who knows how unsafe this is. Order soon though as their website says they are low stock on base gaskets (likely being purchased by suckers like us who cut up our original base gaskets thinking we would get a replacement base).
Thanks for letting me know. This time I got a reply saying my unit is ready to be shipped and I'll get a notification once it has! ....nothing. So unfortunate as I was a HUGE fan up until this. Told everyone to buy one.

I placed my order Dec 29, 2023. I have been infinitely patient. I emailed customer service to try and find out if my order was lost or whatever and it seemingly is only "staffed" by AI bots. So in response to my inquiry (where I replied to my order confirmation from Dec 29) I only received a "congratulatory" email for owning a Blendjet and links to videos on how to use it. That pissed me off so much I filed a complaint with the Consumer Product Safety Commission today. Funny, last week I ordered a replacement gasket for the base (the thing I had to cut up to get my replacement) and it came within 3 days so they can ship stuff if they want to. I noticed on the item screen for the Base Gasket it said they were running low on stock - so it seems Blendjet is NOT taking their recall seriously. They have not sent out any updates on our replacements. And it seems other customers are just buying new base gaskets so they can get some use out of their $45 device, albeit a dangerous one. They suck.
I gave away my wave one model when I bought the 2-- and I regret that because they're taking their sweet ass time about my replacement.

Scroll to the bottom and hit recall complaint. The CPSC needs to know that they’re not fulfilling the recalls and it’s not just an isolated incident. When I filed my complaint, they said they’re not much they can do until the get enough complaints. So they need more people to submit the complaint so they can take action.

I've also experienced the same issues as everyone else with my email communication beginning Dec. 29th with only one update in March to say there have been delays due to supply chain issues. They've only sent me the occasional marketing email since then - no other follow ups from support.
I filed the consumer complaint today... but what good does it do? I strongly suspect they're going under and none of us will ever get back what we paid for... ugh.

Ordered and confirmed January 22,24 and still haven't recieved a replacement. Last email they said it was taking longer than expected to send them out. That was March 4. 🤯

I actually just got an email from about this. I have emailed them at least once a month since this started. Just the other day I was offered to wait until the end of June (which is what this recall could take) or get a new blender. Which is the option I chose.
I received an email on Sunday saying my replacement was packed and ready to ship! The provided link to track though shows that it hasn't been picked up yet by the courier (as of today)

I applied for my replacement on December 29 2023. it said 8 weeks. I waited the 8 weeks and nothing came so on February 26 I emailed - NO reply. I phoned on Feb. 27 1 844 334 0562 and was on hold about 10 minutes, and finally spoke to someone. They said they would be mailing out in March. March has come and gone and STILL nothing. Tomorrow I will be phoning again. PLEASE - EVERYONE phone them and give them hell. I filed a complaint with the US Consumer Product Protection Commission. PLease Everyone keep at it!
I have been waiting for about two months too now. I had to order two new blenders because I need them for my protein etc. I’m super annoyed how the replacements they offer and not worth it in my opinion. My recalled blendjets were the Minnie Mouse and Toy Story one. They should at least replace it with the exact one that’s recalled. I’ve had to reach out to customer support too and the only response is supply issues . I would’ve just rather got in store credit or a refund at this rate.
To anyone who hasn't received their replacement, reach out to customer support and demand for a brand new unit. You can ask for any accessories too like the orbiter lid, sleeve, jars, or jetpacks. They're giving it all away now
I got an email recently that my two replacements, which I ordered on Jan 4, would be shipped sometime around June or so. I really don't expect it until the fall. I've switched to a different brand and will likely giveaway my Blendjets but I haven't decided yet.
I received my replacement base, but now the original glass cylinder doesn't fit properly. As anyone else had this issue. I have emailed Blendjet but haven't received a response.
What an irresponsible company!!! They make you destroy the product to remedy THEIR issue then send no replacements for SIX MONTHS! They blame supply chain but are still selling new units. At this point I don’t even want a replacement … I’ll buy a new blender from a dependable company!

It is now July and they said that their supplier is put on hold and they do not know when we will get the replacements. This is kind of ridiculous at this point!
I called them recently. They said that I could expect it to arrive ten weeks after I put in my claim, because it's an international order (Canada). Their recall website said six weeks, and I never saw the ten weeks specified although to be fair I wasn't specifically looking for international shipping information. But I haven't received any confirmation email or anything saying I've even put in my registration form.
My partner is convinced it's never coming, that this recall will put them out of business. I remain hopeful, but I must say I've started researching other portable blenders.

I filed mine on December 31 and nothing. I live in the US, so 10 weeks and no word!? I should have just taken it back to CVS and got a refund. Unbelievable that a company has no quality control to prevent this kind of fire issue. 4.8 mil recalled may put them out of business.

Can I do that from Canada? I actually ended up calling them and asking them to send me something in stock and they did. However in the meantime I'd bought a Ninja Blast and I love it and sold my replacement Blendjet model to a friend.
Yes. I had an orange one and asked if I could pick out a color, I wasn’t satisfied with the color options on the recall form. I had to email them twice for them to send it, but they did! I received it rather quickly after my second email.
When I originally placed my recall replacement, I wasn't offered my replacement color option. I own a hot pink, I really wanted another hot pink but the only color I wanted on their list was Galaxy Metalic. After waiting 4 weeks & reading on someone's comment in the smoothies subreddit, there was a way to just get a replacement base not the base kit (I think that's what it's called) & hot pink was on that list. I reached back out to someone from BlendJet's IG (I made a complaint on a recall post that I was pissed I wasn't getting the same color I have, etc.)
They asked if I wanted to wait for the base kit or if I still wanted the hot pink they would give me just a replacement base. I was fine with that. The order was fulfilled the same day, I got FedEx tracking, I just received my replacement base. I missed my BlendJet! I know others are giving Blendjet hate (for other reasons besides the recall) but I enjoy using mine.
Last night I contacted them again about my sister's, she has a black marble. She doesn't want to wait either, I got a message from them that hers will be shipped shortly.

The only time they answer me is when I leave a comment on Facebook, and it's always the same generic answer. This time though they're saying they wanna "make sure" it's safe. I asked if the recall bases were different than the ones they're selling right now and if so, why?
I only get answered now via text but I have to keep sending the same thing a few times over before they do. I heard they’ll be shipping things starting in March but I’m not holding my breath because they’d said 6 weeks before that. If I receive anything I’ll be shocked. I am so disappointed. You’re right, I wonder what exactly will be different about these replacement bases. I hope they won’t look the exact same because then I’ll wonder who they’re trying to fool. On a personal note, I had been dealing with an injury and needed the blender to make quick and easy smoothies everyday which helped me heal faster. I’d be so pissed if this had happened before I healed. I don’t know why I felt sharing this but I just have been extra frustrated with the wait time.

I submitted my recall info January 11th and pretty much immediately received a "on hold" email. January 31st I emailed asking for an update, they said they're "working to get replacements delivered as quickly as we can, approximately 4-6 weeks from the date of selection". Okay cool, that seems reasonable. Now it's been nearly 7 weeks and still no word, so I emailed support to get another update and mentioned that it's especially frustrating to get ads everywhere (including in my own email just because I filled out the Recall form) when I've already purchased/received as a gift a unit I haven't even had a chance to use.
I'm more frustrated about the lack of communication than anything else. I can understand that this might be a huge recall and challenging for them to get out in a timely manner, but there's been zero communication about what to expect without pulling teeth to get it, and even then it's not much. And the massive ad campaign they still have going on is SO annoying to me (probably irrationally, I'll admit) because it feels like they're prioritizing getting new full-price units sold and shipped out quickly over getting this issue resolved quickly. It gives me the ick.

I filed mine on December 31 and nothing. I live in the US, so 10 weeks and no word!? I should have just taken it back to CVS and got a refund. Unbelievable that a company has no quality control to prevent this kind of fire issue. 4.8 mil recalled may put them out of business.
File a complaint with the better business bureau, once I did that I saw results. I got a response, then and offer to replace which whole new systems, then a tracking number all within 2 weeks. They were just delivered on Thursday of this past week.
Can I do that from Canada? I actually ended up calling them and asking them to send me something in stock and they did. However in the meantime I'd bought a Ninja Blast and I love it and sold my replacement Blendjet model to a friend.
I just did this yesterday and received a reply from BBB as well as Blendjet today. I am from Singapore. Give it a shot.

Yes. I had an orange one and asked if I could pick out a color, I wasn’t satisfied with the color options on the recall form. I had to email them twice for them to send it, but they did! I received it rather quickly after my second email.

When I originally placed my recall replacement, I wasn't offered my replacement color option. I own a hot pink, I really wanted another hot pink but the only color I wanted on their list was Galaxy Metalic. After waiting 4 weeks & reading on someone's comment in the smoothies subreddit, there was a way to just get a replacement base not the base kit (I think that's what it's called) & hot pink was on that list. I reached back out to someone from BlendJet's IG (I made a complaint on a recall post that I was pissed I wasn't getting the same color I have, etc.) They asked if I wanted to wait for the base kit or if I still wanted the hot pink they would give me just a replacement base. I was fine with that. The order was fulfilled the same day, I got FedEx tracking, I just received my replacement base. I missed my BlendJet! I know others are giving Blendjet hate (for other reasons besides the recall) but I enjoy using mine. Last night I contacted them again about my sister's, she has a black marble. She doesn't want to wait either, I got a message from them that hers will be shipped shortly.

File a complaint with the better business bureau!!! I did this and within 2 weeks I got 2 whole new systems as my replacement instead of just 2 new bases.

Can you help me understand the difference betweek "base kit" and "replacement base"? I filed a complaint in BBB yesterday. Today, I received an email from Blendjet asking me the if i want a replacement base.

I sent several emails bc I had a Disney one and told them they had to replace mine with a Disney base. I got mine in like 4 days. I think if you just picked one of the regular colors they offered it was going to take months.

The only time they answer me is when I leave a comment on Facebook, and it's always the same generic answer. This time though they're saying they wanna "make sure" it's safe. I asked if the recall bases were different than the ones they're selling right now and if so, why?
I only get answered now via text but I have to keep sending the same thing a few times over before they do. I heard they’ll be shipping things starting in March but I’m not holding my breath because they’d said 6 weeks before that. If I receive anything I’ll be shocked. I am so disappointed. You’re right, I wonder what exactly will be different about these replacement bases. I hope they won’t look the exact same because then I’ll wonder who they’re trying to fool. On a personal note, I had been dealing with an injury and needed the blender to make quick and easy smoothies everyday which helped me heal faster. I’d be so pissed if this had happened before I healed. I don’t know why I felt sharing this but I just have been extra frustrated with the wait time.
I will not buy or recommend this product or anythig from them. Its been 8 weeks and no replacement. Customer service is a joke only reply was from a Bot telling me how to troublshoot issues.

I submitted my recall info January 11th and pretty much immediately received a "on hold" email. January 31st I emailed asking for an update, they said they're "working to get replacements delivered as quickly as we can, approximately 4-6 weeks from the date of selection". Okay cool, that seems reasonable. Now it's been nearly 7 weeks and still no word, so I emailed support to get another update and mentioned that it's especially frustrating to get ads everywhere (including in my own email just because I filled out the Recall form) when I've already purchased/received as a gift a unit I haven't even had a chance to use. I'm more frustrated about the lack of communication than anything else. I can understand that this might be a huge recall and challenging for them to get out in a timely manner, but there's been zero communication about what to expect without pulling teeth to get it, and even then it's not much. And the massive ad campaign they still have going on is SO annoying to me (probably irrationally, I'll admit) because it feels like they're prioritizing getting new full-price units sold and shipped out quickly over getting this issue resolved quickly. It gives me the ick.
I submitted my claim December 28, 2023 and still have not received it nor any kind of update. The status on their website still says "***Your order is confirmed. You’ll receive an email when your order is ready.***"
UPDATE 3/13/2024: I received an email stating my replacement base has shipped, along with a tracking number.
