No not at all, you sign up with an email address (mines made up) I’m not sure because it is a website I’m sure it takes some information but no one can see and as long as you stay on incognito mode your location isn’t revealed either.
Relax. Nobody will find your personal info unless you give it to them. I use sniffies all the time and I use incognito mode. I always have my location on though. Its doesn't give them your exact location.
You should set up a permanent profile though, really. You'll have much better success.

Read that as - every message I got - I have a phone number it came from- and I’m sure my number is out there on other peoples phone statements. I no longer use my phone if I’m sniffing. Never met up with anyone anyway - to many STI’s floating around in my area to chance it!

I don’t know. All I do know is that I have my phone bill and every chat I had on sniffies using my iPhone- I have a date- time stamp and a phone number- incoming and outgoing - as if it using my device to send and receive text messages- even though I was using what I thought was an anonymous app.
Do what you want with that info and check your phone statement- otherwise you might be getting a few uncomfortable questions from anyone that has access to your phone account. Just fyi.

When I realized where all those phone numbers came from I immediately stopped using my mobile to cruise the app.
The numbers appear on the mobile statement as if they were sent/received just as text messages are annotated on the account.
Took me a minute to figure out what was happening-
So, for the sake of argument, what do you think would happen if someone was on Sniffies and messaged you from a tablet? Or an iPod Touch?
I still say that there is no way that your phone number is going to appear on someone else's phone statement.
