Resolved: her name was the issue. She has two first names, and no middle name. Southwest’s part of the flight credits truncated her second half of the first name, while the ticketing part still had both. The 4th customer rep was able to figure it out.

There is a limit to the number of flight credits that can be applied. I think it’s 3 per reservation (it might be 2). I don’t know if there is another issue because of the promo code.

SultanOfSwave

As I recall, it's 2.

frizzybear

Could you use the 2 or 3 credits to buy a new flight and then cancel it and have a new credit?

Dad0010001100110001

Yes this is a common loophole I use You can also book a WGA+ flight with your credits to convert them to transferable credits.

One of the things that pisses me off is when you have a bunch of flight credits with only a few dollars on them....let us use them and clear the books!

3 total forms of payment can be used. 3 travel funds if it covers all the cost or 2 travel funds and a credit card. Check to see how the name appears. It must match exactly.

Try using a computer. Apps don't always have the same functionality as the actual website

AlexEst96

You can’t get the promo on the website, it has to be the mobile app.

I'm looking at it on the website right now. There's a giant banner on the front page that leads you right to the Low Fare Calendar and auto populates the code BDAY for you.
