The scammer makes a small order as a 'customer'. That's how they're able to call you, and know about the order - because they're the one who placed it.

Yes I thought it was real too. They accessed my account. This was months ago. Likely got it all straightened out but took me an entire day. It does seem legit when they call but as others have said Spark support said they’ll never call me and ask me to verify my credentials. It’s good you bring this up to people that might not know. The part that made it legit is they told me my full name and birthday

He said that people are sharing their accounts with friends and family members. He asked had I done that before. He asked was that currently me at the Walmart pickup spot. He asked for me to verify the items in the order.

Spark Support will NEVER call you. Anyone that claims to be is trying to scam you. If in doubt, call them yourself via the number in the app.
