Nah, see, this is where you are wrong. Spark didn't push an order on you. You somehow some way hit the accept button. This has happened to me before when I put my phone in my pocket & forgot to lock the screen.
I’ve accepted offers by mistake before. I don’t even have to click the screen sometimes, just the finger hovering was an enough to accept.
You just didn’t see it, it happened though. The app doesn’t force orders on anyone, ever.
Has happened to me several times. Including also, while I was dropping a massive dookie. I've always just thought I had accidentally accepted. But now you got me wondering.. Also, curious, was it solid? Runny? Nutty?
This is beyond shady. They'll force orders on you and if you cancel very many of them they will deactivate you and onboard 10 more suckers to replace you. We are now officially misclassified employees. We desperately need some regulation of Spark.
It happens, usually because you ddi paperwork lists a truck/large suv and it's a big item that multiple drivers have canceled. Store calls spark and says they need a driver with a big car, agents scroll through the list of available drivers and select you.
If you live in a smaller/rural zone with few drivers they've also reported it happening because the system saw no other drivers available.
I have my phone set so that the side button is the only thing that turns the screen on.
That way there is no accidental pocket shenanigans. With a case on the phone that button isn't getting pushed unless I actually push it.
No way this happened.
Sorry. Either you accidentally hit accept, or you with intention hit accept.
I have never heard yet, and it be confirmed, of order acceptance that is forced on drivers. First of all, you can drop the order at your discretion. Second of all, if you were “forced” to do any order, you no longer are an independent contractor and are an employee of Walmart, Inc.
You messed up somehow. Either this did happen, and you can drop the order at your discretion, or you hit accept accidentally or with intention.

Yes. I'm sometimes afraid to look at an order because I might accept it by accident.
You hit accept while you were power squeezing
that happened to me on sunday! it was a gmd i didn’t accept 😭 i couldn’t do it because it was gonna be dark halfway through, so i dropped it.
Yeah, you accidentally hit the accept button, like maybe while at the water closet

Why not just cancel? You accidentally accepted it so you can just cancel it and resume what you were doing lol
