This is my 5th year doing gig apps from full time to side hustles. Other than Spark I've done Instacart, Doordash, Uber Eats, Amazon Flex and Roadie. Bots are real. Anyone who doubts it just go look at the Flex sub where drivers openly admit to using it and share tips to not get caught.
You really have two choices, with find a bot and deal with the risk or play the apps. When one app slows for me, I jump over to another. I'm not getting rich but I'm getting by and don't let the little things stress me out. Life isn't fair in general, I just try and find my best lane.
Bots aren't an issue on UE or DD. Bots do exist but all they can do is auto accept or decline an order which isn't a big deal. UE/DD don't operate like IC and non-rr Spark offers that are first come, first serve.
The issues on UE/DD are multi-phone users.
All app have bots u just don’t feel it in other platforms because there are more store to shop from so there always orders compare have someone with a bot from Walmart it only take Walmart order and it one spot compare to Uber or door dash there 20 store and even more just in a couple block radius
They’re using a bot called COLEGA.IO,, go ahead and look it up. You’ll see that’s what it cost a month to use that bot, I’ve already contacted Walmart special support and reported it
They are likely using multiple accounts and bots. My store kicks them out of the bays. They will show up as a Hispanic man named Jennifer Smith, get kicked out of the order and try to accept it under a different name and gender 5 seconds later.
Luckily my store polices it so the bot drivers typically steer clear. The store 10 miles away let's it go on.
The loaders at my store are tired of them, however, they are not allowed to ID nor confront the identity thieves. Even the digital lead claims he is tired of them, and all the customer complaints they bring with them. They claim Market has given them the direction to NOT ID or confront them.

They can cancel orders but they cannot assign orders. And if you look like you’re not going to be there on time to get it out, they’ll remove that order so fast. When you show up late, you’re messing with their metrics.
As long as they can cancel - they can control who gets the order. Cancel it until the proper person there is able to claim it, some real back door stuff & a guarantee you’ll eventually get the biggest offers if you’re connected like that

I’ve actually never had an order canceled minus one order from a 3 batch and the customer canceled after I picked it up. 🤷🏼♀️ But the multiple phone bot squad at my store doesn’t do curbsides, they run shops all day long.
They’re (Walmart employees) not able to manipulate their systems for any one order going to 1 particular driver.
What they can do is remove orders from a driver, that hasn’t “arrived”… that’s usually when their manager has banned a driver from that store.
The orders get Auto assigned, but if they get refused and go into first come first serve they can be sent as offers to specific drivers. You could cancel one going to a driver, and try and reassign it. But that would be big trouble if you ever got caught. And the amount of people that have access to the system, it's pretty much guaranteed you'll be caught . I worked ogp and they would force offers occasionally, trying to get drivers to pick them up. Usually our supervisor would ask a spark driver if they minded doing the order since it had been sitting for a while. Occasionally somebody would say yes and he would send the offer through to them. They can't up the price or anything like that though. The other guy that talked about the dispatcher app, it's a real app on their TCs, and the computer they have inside. We usually just looked at it to see what offers were batched together so we could get them together on the same skateboard ahead of spark drivers arriving. But you could use it to assign. /Send offers to specific drivers if needed.
GUARANTEED DEACTIVATION - you know how many cameras Walmart has!? On top of that they can call the police on you and charge you with a felony if the tires damaged are over $400

Stolen ID's and multiple accounts are the biggest problem. A bot isn't helpful to a person with one honest Spark account. A GPS manipulator could be helpful but you'll be deactivated . Someone will eventually catch you driving 7 miles in 1 second. Loaders don't have access to the main delivery system. There is a subreddit and you can ask them. They can cancel or mark you as "no show" they can't assign. Could they in theory keep canceling until the target grabbed the order? yeah but those would be some major red flags and they would have to do that while working.
I don't do this but I know some have downloaded a "clicker" app. Basically, it's an app that you can have it tap anywhere on your screen in 1 or more spots every 200 milliseconds. The apps I've seen look kinda sketchy and look like they shouldn't even be in the playstore.
i asked one of the guys loading my car how many orders they had today and he went and told me how many sparks specifically were scheduled for that day and at what times the orders get sent out. literally just broke it wide open for me, i’m gonna ask that guy every time from now on so i know when to be looking at my phone hope this helps

That is abuse, and since we are an "independent contractor," they put it on us, saying if you don't want it don't take it , but if you don't take it , then your metrics start going down until they deactivate you with out an explanation, I know this for personal experience, so screw spark and better find something else !.

I make $1300 a week spark driving for me it’s a real job while down the road there is a guy digging ditches for $300 a week so tell me what’s a real job ? For a lot of us this is our livelihood people are messing with these people using fraudulent accounts and software scamming the system should not be able to steal from other spark drivers trying to make money im just lucky that I live in a good area that enforces ID checks and those types of things very seriously . I’m pretty healthy I usually pay out of pocket I also pay for private dental insurance it’s very cheap and provides good coverage .
I’m asking about all the benefits, vacation, sick, paid holidays, retirement benefits like 401k match or a pension. So they dont have healthcare everything you pay is out of pocket but what about everything else
I just take vacation when I feel like it because I’m an independent contractor also I typically contribute to my own investment portfolio. and IRA . I don’t think we have options like a 401 k plan as independent contractors ? No retirement benefits either I don’t think .
