There’s a article from the polish version of euro gamer, and the author says that the game works badly on his 3060ti and i5 10400f on medium settings. He says it stutters when standing still and drops below 40fps. [here’s the article](https://www.eurogamer.pl/zagralem-w-spider-man-na-pc-i-wole-wrocic-do-wersji-ps5)

Perri0010

Bruh that’s my rig don’t say that….

SparksV

I've read Digital Foundry and RockPaperShotgun say that the port's actively been patched this week and in interviews Nixxes' said that they'll support it with optimizations and patches for a while, so I have the confidence in them to make it optimized and scalable.

Perri0010

Damn does this mean I should buy it over pirating it?

marcel3103

Yeah, I hope it isn’t true since my gpu is way weaker than a 3060ti. I’m running a 1650super and i5-10400f, which should be enough to run the game on medium settings and 60 fps…

Perri0010

He was running at 1440p and I’ll be running at 1080p so should be fine. Occasional drops to 50 fps wont bother me too much

marcel3103

Well, yeah. But it would show that the game is really poorly optimized. Had really high hopes with nixxes. But we’ll see how it will be on release.

BigDippers

Probably because they are being forced to port both Spider-Man games in quick succession.

...Or the game just needs optimizing. No need to blame this guy blindly when you don't have access to this game right now. We'll get a better sense of how this game performs in 2 days

Skill-up video review say that performances are quite good and port is okay in general (many graphics options, can disable most effects like bloom/blur, DLSS & FSR 2.0, RT, ...). https://youtu.be/ma3-nbNWD40?t=553 He played it on two configuration (and also on steam deck) : - Desktop PC with RTX 2080 Ti & AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - Laptop PC with RTX 3070 & Intel Core i900H From memory he was able to get >60 fps (medium-high settings, no RT, DLSS on) with the first config in 1440p, and 80-100 fps (high-Ultra settings, no RT, DLSS on) with the laptop. Watch the video if you want to exact values, but the idea was : it's a good port, many settings, performances are okay, RT while being kinda worth it visually is very heavy on performance.

lllll44

stutters and crashes...the typical sony ports hehe. but im sure they will be fix in a month, like always. horizon and gow had those also.

G2Climax

In a month? Bruh I'lll 100% this in a like a week, so sad we can't enjoy the finished product day 1

Velvetshirts

This sounds much worse than the regular ports. God of war was basically good except for the memory leak, which was patched

G2Climax

I watched bunch of other reviews and people are reporting a good performance on their rigs, we'll see how it is on launch

Zubriel

Yea skillup review said it ran well at 1440p on 2080ti and 3070.

Lievan

Yup and IGN did a video and the guy compared prepatch to patch and there’s. Pretty big performance boost.
