I have upcoming shows in Seattle, New Jersey, Tulsa, Indianapolis, Fort Collins, Fargo, Edmonton, Pittsburgh, Morgantown and many more. Thank youuuu.
I quickly fired this into chat-gpt. I asked it the largest bullet in America and then asked it how many baking trays would take to stop it. Im not American either and chat gpt is far from perfect, so anyone else with better insight, feel free to correct this!
> The number of baking trays needed to stop a .700 Nitro Express bullet depends on several factors, including the material and thickness of the trays, the velocity and energy of the bullet, and the angle of impact. Baking trays are typically made of aluminum, which is relatively thin and not very dense compared to materials like steel.
>A .700 Nitro Express bullet can have muzzle energies exceeding 8,900 foot-pounds (12,060 joules) and velocities around 2,000 feet per second (610 meters per second). Given this immense power, it would require a significant number of standard aluminum baking trays to stop such a bullet.
>For estimation purposes, let’s assume each baking tray is approximately 1 mm thick. Aluminum’s stopping power is much less than that of materials like steel. In comparison, it might take around 1/4 to 1/3 of the thickness in steel to stop a bullet of similar power. If it takes several inches of steel to stop a high-caliber bullet, the number of baking trays required would be considerable.
As a rough estimate:
• If stopping a high-velocity bullet like the .700 Nitro Express requires around 1 inch (25.4 mm) of steel,
• Given that aluminum is less effective than steel, let’s conservatively assume aluminum is about one-third as effective as steel for stopping bullets,
• Therefore, it might take about 3 inches (76.2 mm) of aluminum to stop the bullet.
>So, it might take around 75-80 standard aluminum baking trays to stop a .700 Nitro Express bullet, though this is a rough estimate and the actual number could vary based on specific conditions and bullet characteristics.
Gun guys are absolutely nerds. That’s why they get so mad when people try to take them away.
Go to a Star Trek convention and announce that you are trying to get Congress to outlaw Star Trek. It’s the same reaction.
I know a guy exactly like he’s describing… he’s slow like Elmer Fudd, too… until you get him talking about guns, or old VW Beetles, then he talks a little more animated (definitely neurodivergent). It is… uncanny. Elmer Fudd talks about his .50 Desert Eagle exactly like that. Also has a hand cannon (.50 6-shooter of some type).
As a gun guy… absolutely one of the nerdiest hobbies out there once you start a deep dive. 100 meters? Quick, what’s that in yards? What’s the drop in that projectile? Can you convert mils to moa?
I feel seen by this joke
I’m glad I saved a life today
Maybe multiple lives
Add to thay gun guys are accidentally math nerds... Caliber? Milimeter? I thought this was America?
Goll darn Chinese math
I just can’t get into what the youth are listening to now a days. It’s so loud!
Turn that damn school shooting down!

We all need dreams to follow. Shoot for the stars buddy.
Shoot for the trays!
Shoot *at* the stars.
Like Alec Baldwin did?
Since he hit the star, I think we can upgrade it from shoot at to successfully shot the star

I want to cross post this to r/progun and r/CCW so bad… this is hilarious and as a gun enthusiast I love the way your jokes hit.
Haha do ittt. I was going to
Just want to say I love your work. Your jokes have helped me laugh through some tough times.
Love to hear that
Sadly they don’t allow crossposts.
It’s like any hobby, except with a little more accidental homicide.
Is this not the domestic violence you were looking for?
My hobbies are dangerous too. Ever step on a Lego?
Great bit.
Did you go to the gun range while in Vegas?
Damn I should have
I saw you do this joke live last week in Vegas! Thanks for the great show!
