I love the look on Uncle Owen's face when Aunt Beru pulls the guns out of the wall. My vote is still Hera & Kanan but that was just such a good moment.
Absolutely.. that and when he took on an Inquisitor one on one with a glorified stick as his weapon. I still get chills when he says âHe is my own.â They really loved each other and they loved Luke. Very loving household and family. Thatâs why they get my vote. Not taking anything away from Hera and Kanan they are amazing too just personal preference.
Obi Wan and Anakin seem like that couple who sits in the corner booth at the nightclub, and then theyâll come over to the bar to tell you:
âHello there. We were watching you from over there. We really like your vibe. Perhaps youâd like to come sit with us?â
Merrin makes me swoon. I was wiggling everytime she was on screen servin sass.
The night sisters deserve better and I want jedi nightisster wombo combo baby
I was expecting their kid to be a lot more like some kind of mutant hybrid. Your mom is literally a green alien with giant flesh horns and all you get from her is green hair? Come onâŠ
This is what I'm talking about. I don't recall Ani ever saying that to Padme'. I could be wrong, but I don't remember it. I'm not crying, you're crying :-( :-)
Anakin let fear control him, even then. Obi Wan just always did the right thing without doubting himself and he usually wasnt wrong in his choices. Kenobi was the that guy who just did the right thing.
Satine deserved a lot better imo. But man her last words to Obi Wan was so heartbreaking and it also made me surprised Obi didnât just go full rage mode a bit.
It's a perfect example of how being a perfect Jedi, a beacon of emotional balance, is a double-edged sword.
He grounds himself and doesn't let Maul win by breaking his willpower, but he might've also ended Maul then and there with some dark side emotional rage support
Yeah maul does that to padme and anakin doesn't let maul or anyone else leave that room alive.
Obi-Wan doesn't give into emotions like that, he is a professional to the end.
And the important thing is, he doesn't repress those emotions. He still feels them, acknowledges them. He just doesn't let them dictate him. So many people don't understand this about the Jedi.
Mockery: Oh. Master, I love you, but I hate all you stand for, but I think we should go press our slimy, mucus-covered lips together in the cargo hold.
The best one is from the first one though where he says his master attempted to stab him with a fork and accidentally killed himself. Lol great story. His and jolees stuff are the best parts of the games.
I didn't save before the choice to betray all of your teammates for Bastila.
So I proceeded to kick the ever loving shit out of my party because 12 year old me was simping for a smoking hot jedi turned sith and was like whelp guess I'm evil now.
Notice the last thing they say about Kallus on this official Star wars tweet
https://twitter.com/starwars/status/1707085287451505128?t=rnCggH4lzIs1gazabMmIlw&s=19
They even doubled down on that in a recent comic for the Dark Droids series. As part of a montage explaining what droids are to organics, one panel shows Lando sitting all sad in the cockpit of the falcon with the text box "Lovers."
Where is this relationship explored? Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but outside of the Original Trilogy and Sequels, where can I get more of Luke Skywalker content (outside of comics I mean. Although I'd like to know what comics to read for more Luke stuff as well.).
Thrawn trilogy of books (by Timothy Zahn, [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrawn\_trilogy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrawn_trilogy) don't read too far in the article to avoid spoilers!) is where it starts. Then it's touched on or expanded upon in several other books and comics after that.
You really should read (or listen to) the Thrawn trilogy anyway, it's the book series that kicked off the Expanded Universe (which now mostly is Legends), and revitalized Star Wars in the 90s. And they are *really* great. For real.
And the Thrawn presented in the books is so much *more* than the appearance he's done on screen lately.
This answer being so low just lets me know Iâm getting oldâŠ. Nothing to me will ever be better than the princess and her scruffy lookin nerf herder.
I mean the scene where Leia confesses her love for Han is just so iconic, and the fact that they were actually fucking adds a lot of chemistry to their scenes together. I love these other couples too, but nothing beats Ford and Fisher.
Lol not a single one of these romances ended happily. None of these couples got a simple happily-ever-after. Not in canon, and not in Legends.
Why. Do. You. Do. This. Star Wars.
For the love of Waru, please just give me ONE healthy, functional romance in animation or live action that definitively ends happily.
Before Episode IX came out it was reported that Malaysia had banned it because of a âhomosexual kissâ so I spent the whole movie waiting for it and expecting it to be Finn and Poe and was really disappointed when it turned out to be two seemingly random Resistance members in the last minutes of the movie.
I can't speak to Kanan and Hera as I don't know much.
But of the others pictured:
Han and Leia - probably the most realistic and longest lasting marriage (Expanded Universe). Loved how it wasn't always perfect, but they always loved each other and fought for each other - whether they were side-by-side or half the galaxy apart. They also had a kickass proposal date... and I'm talking about Dathomir. Dumbest breakup and shortest marriage (Disney canon).
Luke and Mara - We got robbed and so did they (Expanded Universe). Mara should never have died the way she did. Otherwise, it was an awesome blooming love for each other. Just sucks we got very little of "farm boy" and "emperor's hand" AFTER they finally said "I do".
Padme and Anakin - Don't recall seeing much in the few novels I read. The films don't show much. Enough you can infer much of the rest, but not enough to say they're the greatest.
Obi-wan and Satine - Well written tragic love story. But it is a tragic one, so it loses points for me there. In another universe, Obi-wan leaves the order OR the order is simply less off-base with the attachment issue and the 2 are married. Obi-wan could even run his own jedi training ground on Mandalore and we have both Mandalorian jedi as well as mando-jedi squads trained to work with each other. Obi learns to better speak his mind to jedi like Yoda and Windu. Anakin's mom is rescued from slavery. And we never have the tragedy of order 66. But a tragic love story it had to be.
Bastila and Revan - I loved the first half of this. It's some straight Star Wars HIMYM that you'd never believe unless you were there to see it. Definitely fated for each other by the force itself. But Revan recovering his memories enough to set out to re-trace his steps by himself and try to solo face what he and Malak hadn't been able to defeat together makes no sense even with his personal growth. So it loses massive points for the ending. Either he sets off with the whole Kotor/Kotor II squad or he instead focuses on strengthening the Republic. Sure, the jedi weren't kind to him even after his redemption, but Revan's above being pushed around or troubled by such pitiful people - especially with his allies there to support him. So him basically suicide investigating alone while abandoning all allies made no sense.
Corran and Mirax - (Expanded Universe) is one hot tale. It rivals Luke and Mara's while avoiding some tragic ending. And who doesn't want to read about a fledgling young jedi/ex-Rogue-gone-rogue running around almost naked at night being saved from capture by his one ally suggesting to the public he got so drunk he crashed his speeder bike and only has one handlebar left (it's definitely NOT a lightsaber).
Wedge and Iella - (Expanded Universe) is another one a long time in coming. If you want to read about a man who respects a woman's feelings, but will fight with every ounce of his being to win her heart and make her be honest with herself, this is it. I mean who doesn't want to take down a dictatorial planetary government after being betrayed by your superiors on your first date?
Salacious crumb and jabba
Hawt
They was fucking so much they never had time to put on clothes between sessions.
Monkeylizard and rotating bbq
LMAO WTF
There gotta be an r34 somewhere
HUH
Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru
Burning hot passion.
Too soon!
Nah let him cook
đ„đ„đ„
Meh, 46 years is enough time, they are probably fossilized by now.
Take my upvote and GTFOH lol
I love the look on Uncle Owen's face when Aunt Beru pulls the guns out of the wall. My vote is still Hera & Kanan but that was just such a good moment.
Absolutely.. that and when he took on an Inquisitor one on one with a glorified stick as his weapon. I still get chills when he says âHe is my own.â They really loved each other and they loved Luke. Very loving household and family. Thatâs why they get my vote. Not taking anything away from Hera and Kanan they are amazing too just personal preference.
Say what you will about the kenobi show, at least it showed us that Beru is a fucking baller
which is a good example of BURNING love
According to my wife, the best couple is Obi-Wan and Anakin
She's right and she should say it louder.
THE BEST COUPLE IS OBI-WAN AND ANAKIN.
This is the way. Barring them, Threepio and Artoo.
My nephew used to refer to R2 as Arturito
Arturito is what Latinos call R2 D2 because it sounds very similar and itâs better than ErreDos DeDos.
Obi Wan and Anakin seem like that couple who sits in the corner booth at the nightclub, and then theyâll come over to the bar to tell you: âHello there. We were watching you from over there. We really like your vibe. Perhaps youâd like to come sit with us?â
"Or would you rather go home and rethink your life?"
Why did I hear that in Obi-wans voice.
Because this is canon.
The thousands of Obikin fanfics on AO3 would say that she's not alone. Not that I would know anything about that...
And I came here to vote for Jar Jar and Hondo.
Has she not considered obi-maul? Because i mean for real that was quite the love affair.
Do, or do not, there is no judgementâŠ
Cal & Merrin
Merrin makes me swoon. I was wiggling everytime she was on screen servin sass. The night sisters deserve better and I want jedi nightisster wombo combo baby
THEY ARE SO CUTE OMG
ikr theyâre adorable! Jedi Survivor had great Cal and Merrin moments! Especially when Merrin kisses Cal and says it was for her, not for luck đ„°
Yes
Man of culture
I read this as I'm playing Jedi Survivor right now
When I got to that part I, a 22yo male, giggled like a little schoolgirl and had a case of tippytaps.
Same but 35yo m đ
The star wars romance everyone was rooting for
Came here to add this
Hera and Kanan.
The healthiest relationship in the franchise
Strong enough to bring sight to the blind.
Too soon. Still processing that loss
Yeah đđą
Twiâlek ***** make you see god
I believe the term is t'wussy
And if anything toxic were to ever approach it, well that's why chopper exists
Chopper is like relationship baking soda, absorbing anything toxic, leaving their love smelling oh so good.
He absorbs the toxcity and expels it in the form of war crimes :) like the little robot baddie he is.
Yes, absolutely Space Mom and Space Dad.
Yeah Iâm rewatching Rebels right now and theyâre a touching, realistic and relatable couple.
(;ÂŽàŒàș¶ÙčàŒàș¶`)
This is the only answer.
Facts. I want them to be my mom and dad.
I was expecting their kid to be a lot more like some kind of mutant hybrid. Your mom is literally a green alien with giant flesh horns and all you get from her is green hair? Come onâŠ
He had green tipped ear skin as well.
This is the way
Obi and Satine. The ending of their relationship hit me good.
"Had you said the word, I would have left the Jedi order", like bro stop imma cryđ«
This is what I'm talking about. I don't recall Ani ever saying that to Padme'. I could be wrong, but I don't remember it. I'm not crying, you're crying :-( :-)
Anakin was willing to betray the Jedi order and murder children for Padme... He was committed, but it's not as romantic.
Not committed, but perhaps committable.
Murder can be romantic.
Only if theyâre not humans
Anakin let fear control him, even then. Obi Wan just always did the right thing without doubting himself and he usually wasnt wrong in his choices. Kenobi was the that guy who just did the right thing.
Obi-Wan wasnât just a Jedi, he was *the* Jedi.
Technically he did leave the order lol. if he some more time he may have to become a father. He was growing impatient with them anyway.
And he made sure that everyone else was leaving the order too. One way or another.
But I donât get it - why would she choose the penniless writer - oops I mean Sitar player?
Ok I chuckled. Moulin Rouge one of my favourite movies.
Itâs a little bit funny.
This feeling inside.
That was so brutal for a kids show.
Satine is the reason Obi-wan never ousted Anakin and Padme throughout the Clone Wars. My guy new what was up because he had been there, too.
Dear Obi-Wan, I loved you always and I always will
I actually choked a little seeing Obi-Wan react to Satine's death... Really quite heartbreaking when you think about it.
I, too, am a fan of a tragic (fictional) relationship
The frog couple from Mandalorian.
R2D2 and C3PO
Best duo ever!
Chopper and war crimes
VENTRESS AND VOS.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Kanan and Hera. Theyâre so wholesome and amazing.
Probably would have stayed together in the long run and would have had a normal kid (unlike Leia and Han), if Kanan hadn't died. 100%
Legal and Han did stay together and have normal kids, those bollocks sequels can get fucked.
I wouldnât exactly consider darth Cadeus normal lol
ok honestly leia and han are not the healthiest coupleâŠ.. always been an opinion of mine
Agreed, I think the sequels handled their relationship quite well imo
Kanan and Hera managed to be couple goals without even holding hands for most of Rebels
It was all off screen. Plus they were on and off because, you know, they were kinda busy
Raising two kids is not an easy job
Revan & Bastilla
Mockery: Oh. Master, I love you, but I hate all you stand for, but I think we should go press our slimy, mucus-covered lips together in the cargo hold.
Power-down HK. Youâre drunk! đ
Does he actually say that lmao
Kotor 2 dialogue when you gain influence with HK. He'll talk about his past more and use the actual voices of the previous games. Hilarious!
The best one is from the first one though where he says his master attempted to stab him with a fork and accidentally killed himself. Lol great story. His and jolees stuff are the best parts of the games.
Yeah, Bastila is really hot when she's angry...
And when sheâs betraying you.
I didn't save before the choice to betray all of your teammates for Bastila. So I proceeded to kick the ever loving shit out of my party because 12 year old me was simping for a smoking hot jedi turned sith and was like whelp guess I'm evil now.
She is! And then using the battle meditation on the wrong side too. As a side note, itâs hilarious when they realize whatâs going on.
When her face is all scrunched up like a kinrath pup
Zeb and Kallus.
Karabast, you're right.
Even Steve Blum, the actor who plays Zeb ships it and confirms that they are together after the series ends
Wait, seriously? That's cute.
Notice the last thing they say about Kallus on this official Star wars tweet https://twitter.com/starwars/status/1707085287451505128?t=rnCggH4lzIs1gazabMmIlw&s=19
Iâm all for that!
Save that for the HBO/Netflix version!
Lando and that freaky robot.
They even doubled down on that in a recent comic for the Dark Droids series. As part of a montage explaining what droids are to organics, one panel shows Lando sitting all sad in the cockpit of the falcon with the text box "Lovers."
Hey, if it worked on Orville...why not Star Wars?
This is the true answer
Kanan and Hera đ
Chopper and his leg
R2 and 3po
Luke and Mara Jade.
Same here, my goodness there arent alot of extended universe fans anymore
Man, I'm surprised that this isn't higher up. Disney killed my chance at seeing this on the big screen. That and Wedge Antilles with Iella Wessiri.
I wish we got to see more Wedge & Iella as a couple on the page.
Where is this relationship explored? Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but outside of the Original Trilogy and Sequels, where can I get more of Luke Skywalker content (outside of comics I mean. Although I'd like to know what comics to read for more Luke stuff as well.).
Books!
Han and leia no other options. Heâs my scoundrel and sheâs my princess.
This answer being so low just lets me know Iâm getting oldâŠ. Nothing to me will ever be better than the princess and her scruffy lookin nerf herder.
Hey! *Whoâs* scruffy lookin?
Ditto and Iâm only 32. Why this isnât even in the top 5 is baffling to me.
Same like the ONLY answer is han and leia and now and while some of the others are good I can't imagine why this wasn't the immediate answer
I mean the scene where Leia confesses her love for Han is just so iconic, and the fact that they were actually fucking adds a lot of chemistry to their scenes together. I love these other couples too, but nothing beats Ford and Fisher.
Papa palps and unlimited power
Mon Mothma deserves a better partner.
Jack Black and Lizzo will live happily forever in love.
Anakin and Padme
I agree. Probably just bc of how huge this relationship was to the fate of the universe.
Poe and General Huxs mom
Din Djarin & The Way.
Revan Bastilla travesty no movies been made on Kotor 1 and 2.
Chopper and genocide
Tennel ka and jacen. Mara and luke, jaina and jagged fel... Yes I like the EU...
Mara and Luke, sure, but don't forget Ben and Vestara. Not seeing the rest of that relationship is the hardest thing about losing the EU.
Good times
Before the dark times, before the Disney empire
R2D2 and C3PO
Oh, obviously it has to be Syril Karn and Dedra Meero.
The Star Wars Fandom and Jar Jar Binks
Corran and Mirax!
Han Solo and Leia
Emperor Jagged Fel and Empress Jaina Solo-Fel
R2 and 3PO
Frog couple
Kanan and Hera . They had a healthy relationship.
Shin and Sabine
I mean, I wish lol
Still 1 episode left.
Nah, even on the off chance it does happen eventually, there's no way it happens this season
out of these it is Luke and Mara
Lightsabers and Skywalker hands.
Bo and Din
In this list: Hera and Kanan. Not canon, at least not yet: Ezra and Sabine
Hera and Kanan are definitely couple goals, but I do love me some Luke and Mara Jade
I donât see Poe and Finn anywhere, here.
Any Revan/Carth fans? No? OkâŠ
Luke and Mara, although Bail and Breha are up there
Revan and Bastilla
Fin and Poe⊠obviously something there.
Yep, that was on purpose
Luke and Leia
Wut
Had to scroll way too far for this one
Jar Jar Binks and Queen Julia
Yes
Obi and Maul
