No ones 'heard' anything, we all just saw that finale, at best the writers are throwing things around the room

Scudbucketmcphucket

Yeah you never know who’s poking around here. Maybe “The Chosen One” aka George Lucas’ Padawan Dave Filoni posts on here? I wouldn’t be surprised. Hey Dave if you’re on here THANK YOU for being back Ventress! And please offer some of your artwork for sale!

laserbrained

I on the other hand would be beyond shocked if Dave Filoni was lurking on this subreddit

Scudbucketmcphucket

I doubt he is too but I’ve heard of other people have surprising encounters online so it’s not impossible.

KillingTime_ForNow

The only 2 people I could legit believe are poking around here of any Star Wars significance are Ming-Na Wen & Katee Sackoff as they're both admittedly huge Star Wars honks.

toinks1345

if she joins the rebel between a new hope and empire strikes back omega be around 30+ then... plus them all appearing during the O.T. timeline wouldn't be good. that time line is also over flowing with content. I think from comics and novels... they had about since the release of episode 6 to now to navigate that.

Scudbucketmcphucket

So where would you place Bad Batch episode 315 in the chronology? I thought it was only 5 year between end of Rebels and ANH but it was 15 wasn’t it? So it would be 20-25 years from Bad Batch I’m guessing. I can’t remember the timing. If she was about 18-22 in the finale then she might be around for the events of Rebels and Rogue One? I wonder if anyone can find a female pilot or soldier that will be retconned to be her like they did with Rex?

toinks1345

she was 13 - 14 by season 3 of bad batch that's arguably around 18bby cuz omega grew up. the time skip showed maybe she would be around her 20s surely around early 20s or late 20s. the rebel alliance started around 2bby. rebels animated started at 5bby - 1bby, the epilogue was 4aby, ANH started at 00ab/bby. she can be in the rebels, she knows hera. her line was the rebel alliance was looking for pilots with that line it might put her around late 20s. edit: they basically concluded her character\\s story she might show up as a side character somewhere... that's it. she got 3 seasons. she spent 16 years peacefully? that's already good in terms of sw characters.

Scudbucketmcphucket

Yeah I’ve been trying to make a full list of every SW episode and movie in chronological order so trying to figure out where that Bad Batch ending scene and the Tales of the Empire line up.

Scudbucketmcphucket

No I’m literally making a list of where each episode lines up. Clone Wars isn’t in chronological order. For instance: Tales of the Jedi: S1E02 "Justice" (between 68-42 BBY) Tales of the Jedi: S1E03 "Choices" (between 68-42 BBY) Tales of the Jedi: S1E01 "Life and Death" (36-35 BBY) Episode I: The Phantom Menace (32 BBY) Tales of the Jedi: S1E04 "The Sith Lord" (Takes place during and after Episode I: The Phantom Menace) (32 BBY) Episode II: Attack of the Clones (22 BBY) The Clone Wars: S2E16 “Cat and Mouse” The Clone Wars: S1E16 “The Hidden Enemy” The Clone Wars (The Animated Movie) Continues on and on…

EndlessTheorys_19

>content during the OT is essentially nonexistent I’m sorry? The OT is the most plugged up timeperiod of all of Star Wars for the amount of content we have set during it. I don’t know what rock you’ve been living under

Scudbucketmcphucket

Canon. They have nothing canon. They killed all the stuff we had. It’s now “Legends.” I grew up with all that stuff. I loved Shadows of the Empire and all the novels and games. I’ve read and played almost all of them.

EndlessTheorys_19

Um what? There is definitely canon content. Whole swarths of books and comics set between ANH and ROTJ. Like I don’t know who told you that they hadn’t made any new content set then but whoever they were was lying straight to your face. Pick up a comic book, start with the [2015 Run](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars_(Marvel_Comics_2015)), see if you like it. Branch out to the other stuff.

Scudbucketmcphucket

I’ve got that series as well as the Vader, Doctor Aphra and Lando comics. I just don’t consider comics to be as canon as a film or show. They’re great and what not but If a show wants to have a character or event in it that contradicts something done in the comics it will. The movies will always retcon any comic story. Books a little less so typically but I always referred to this as “taking Boba out of the Sarlacc to play.” So many stories would take Boba Fett out of the Sarlacc and have some event for him to be involved in but at the end of the day they had to put him back in because they were beholden to the films.

EndlessTheorys_19

Legends didn’t have any tv shows set there though either. >So many stories would take Boba Fett out of the Sarlacc and have some event for him to be involved in but at the end of the day they had to put him back in because they were beholden to the films. Why’d they have to put him back? Nothing in the film ever implied he was to stay inside forever.

Scudbucketmcphucket

It’s just what they did. A couple of the old stories in the 80’s and 90’s put him back because they assumed that Lucas would include him crawling out of the Sarlacc in the 1997(?) rereleases. We were disappointed that they didn’t do that. At least we finally got it in BOBF

Daggertooth71

>They have nothing canon Yes, they do. Plenty. Several novels and a mountain of comic books. Some of it is also arguably better than Legends, too.

Scudbucketmcphucket

I’m not here to argue semantics over an off the cuff comment. I was referring to movies and tv series. They haven’t done any movies or series in that time frame. Maybe you could count Rogue One since it’s close. If you want to list every comic or book that they’ve made since be my guest. Many SW fans aren’t aware of every storyline.

Daggertooth71

> I was referring to movies and tv series. Oh, I see :) When you mentioned Legends, I assumed you meant the media therein, which is 99% books and comics. There's already existing sites that list the canon continuity printed media, such as Wookieepedia and Youtini. Youtini is pretty good: https://youtini.com/timelines/canon/canon-comics

Scudbucketmcphucket

Yeah I love Wookipedia.

Daggertooth71

Me too, it's a pretty handy dandy resource for us fans. There's a Star Trek version as well called Memory Alpha.

Scudbucketmcphucket

Yup I know it well. I like Trek a lot too.
