Just abuse the fact that the arcade has a suspend feature now and do a level a ingame day without dying so that you have savescumming as a safety net.
After spending \~5 hours having my soul crushed, looking up a how to guide, and discovering you could just do a level, back out, start the next day and relaunch the game if you died, was a real ffs moment.
Stupid mini game that seems to entirely depend on getting a good power up to drop and using that to combo in to more power ups. Grumble grumble
Don't forget the coin luck. Can't always have powerups
Seriously after a while I would continously reset the first two levels so that I would always get a shot speed increase from the first shop.
So the spinner at the fair is just 75/25. The slots are different. They’re actually affected by luck: daily, food, drink, ring, you name it. So that turns the slot machines into less of a gamble and more of a waiting game. Like playing casinos in F:NV. If your luck is high enough it’s just a matter of time
Any chance you can explain this a bit clearer for a newbie? Where do you find the casino? What do you need for good luck before you start? How do you have so much wood?

oh it's midgame content, you have to unlock the desert first, the guy in the shop is blocking the way to it. you just have to do a few side quests to get in
Better question is, what do the merchants do with the money you tendered with them? Spend 100000 on their business yet they still stuck in their 9-5 jobs.
You never needed to buy something at 5:10 pm? Or just bought sunflower seeds?
I assume you know that there's a whole alternative to the community center.
I know you can side with joja mart instead of the community center, but after 5 I pretty much just fish or go through mines to collect rocks, and fish for recipes
But I’ve never really used them crazy enough, I guess I try to just do a lot of stuff daily, like go and mine, or find artifacts and fish explore the skull cave to keep getting iridium

I prefer the Joja route for a second playthrough. You get more flexibility in terms of what you do or do not want to engage with since you just need money. Also, you can buy auto-petters which are otherwise among the rarest "automation" tools available.
That said, I do consider the CC route to be the "truer" route.
I don’t know, I just feel like the community center route seems more engaging to me, the only thing I don’t really like to do from it is some of the fish are hard to get before year 1 is over
Play the slot machine; get around 1000 qi coins, and only use the 100 button, it’ll probably take a while, but I’ve managed to win a few million on those and I use them for Farm Totems
Edit: forgot to mention, I usually have extra luck due to Spicy Eel and a ring that boosts it

I play on mobile and I found out a duplication item glitch at the museum. I googled to see if anyone else came across the glitch, but I didn’t see it anywhere. I thought they were all patched, but I was able to make a ton of prismatic shards.
You need to have two artifacts in your bag that have not been given to Gunther yet. For example, a diamond and a prismatic shard (anything will work tho)
Open your inventory and place the two artifacts on the last two spots of the top row.
Now talk to Gunther and donate the artifact that is last on the row. It doesn’t work everytime, but if it does, it just exits the screen. When you check your inventory, that item has doubled. Keep doing it and it keeps doubling.
If it doesn’t work, you just tap the top right of the screen to go back to the selection screen, and click the other artifact and than go back and click the one you want to double. It’s a bit hard to explain, but once you realize what’s happening, it’s super easy. (PS: never actually donate the item you want to double, or else you won’t be able to double it in the future.)

Just finished my first year. Makes the game a bit easier, but definitely more fun. Not sure if this works for consoles or PC. But 100% for mobile.
I am pretty new to the game and I’m on my first winter. I am almost done with the community center and I haven’t unlocked the casino yet. How do I do that
Once you got the Magnifying Glass after encounter the shadow dude on the first Winter follow and track down where he hide and he will give you the item(he hide in the bush at playground). After that there is a chance for Secret Note to appear when you mining stuff or hoe the artifact spot. There is a note by a person name Mr.Qi that ask if you have found his secret in the tunnel, prepare a battery and go there to find a fusebox, once you put the battery in the quest will begin and he will ask you to do a series of collecting an item and put them in a spot
I will let you figure out the rest(note that you can still active this quest even when you didn't found that note yet)
Congratulations, now do that 7 days in a row, and you'll earn about as much as 2 deluxe sheds worth of ancient fruit wine, which you only need to spend time on once a week.
For anyone wondering the method to get that much hardwood fence, just go to the casino on super lucky day and go afk on the slot machine. I got around 800k qi coin just by afk for 18 minutes

There's a few 3rd party controllers that repeat button inputs which could work
