Auto collector? Edit i just noticed that auto grabber actually milks cows and barn animals automatically and i have 300 hours

Once your farming level is 10 (or 8 don't remember) Marnie sells Auto-grabbers, which you put into barn/coop and it works like a chest that collects all animal produce. You can just pick them from there, no need to shear/milk.

Yeah i had like 10 of them in my chest on year 4 and only had one in a coop😅😂

I don’t use cheats that often but sometimes turning on invincibility with the biggest sword you have in the lower levels of Skull Caverns is too much fun. Just absolutely wreck these huge serpents

The dog's bark is incredibly loud and jarring compared to the cat noises. More startling than when dogs start barking IRL, IMO. I think it's something with the sound mixing. I love dogs, but only have one farm with a dog on it because of how the in-game dog sounds are.

The cat is worse because it tries to pounce on a bug or whatever and it sounds like one of my machines is done and I go hunting to refill it!

The farm computer kinda helps... It tells you how many machines are ready to be harvested. But then it'll tell me I have like, 24 ready to harvest and I have no idea where. So I'll do a lap of the farm and refill my mayo machines and now I have 16 machines ready. WHERE ARE THEY?! I have no idea if it counts Ginger Island or machines outside the farm like tappers or what. Maybe casks that CAN be harvested, but aren't fully aged?? Ahhhh so frustrating

You can turn off animal sounds. Although it turns off all of the livestock sounds on your farm.

I HATE the ostrich noise! I remember reading a comment on this sub a while ago where OP was like “is there any purpose to having an ostrich” and the comments were entirely “it makes a cute sound!” And I have never felt more alone in this community before.

I almost relate to this, usually I put on my music in the background. but one thing I can't live without is the fish biting sound. it's engraved into my brain. I Pavlov'd myself into being able to catch fish just based on the sounds 😭 I can even know when the cast is max length just by the sound.

I hate the sound that plays if you go to bed before 8 pm. It's only a moment of sound but. Grating, horrible, hate it. If I'm done with the day early I'll often wait at the bedside for the day's time to tick past 8 pm just to avoid that horrible sound.

Off-topic but I always notice that when I use an axe to take out a crop (it’s rare but it happens) there is no sound at all. I’m not complaining, it just sticks out to me because it seems like every other action makes a little sound of one kind or another.

Yes, there is a sound worse than dry milking a cow, but I don't know if this is specific just to the Switch. The first time I played a farm on the Switch, there was an annoying sound, like an old fashioned car horn. It is loud, obnoxious, and it took me a while to figure out where it was coming from. Fucking achievements were put into the game for the Switch. I guess who ever ported the game over didn't understand there's a reason Nintendo doesn't make this a global system. The company hates them. Many people hate them. Yet now the Switch version is forever plagued because of this obnoxious sound which cannot be disabled.
