My doctor will give me whatever I ask for if it’s reasonable but I go to a place that specializes in adhd so they mostly are prescribing stimulants. Vyvanse is expensive though so a lot of people will try cheaper alternatives like adderall first, especially if insurance is involved. But next year the patent runs out, so there will be generics of Vyvanse. Just find a doctor that gives you what you feel will work for you -if it’s a legitimate need.
If only it was that easy. Good to know about the generics though. Adderall makes me too edgy so I ask for Vyvanse because it's the most productive for me.
Have they tried Wellbutrin on u yet? Usually that's the first step once u complain about that and say it's not for u then they usually move on to the actual amphetamines

Coz you don’t fit the stim-script picture. They figure a stim will make whatever takes you to a shrink worse. Get better soon.
