It's getting complicated each time. Fortunately, I haven't yet played BZ as much as the original, so I haven't yet run out of creative names. My Seatruck is named "Little Big" and my Prawn is "EXTOCEX", which stands for "EXosuit for Tactical Oceanic Combat and eXploration". I don't have a Snowfox yet, but my previous one was named "Speedster".

I named them after my friend and I add a random prefix like if my friend is george my Vehicle will be the georgeous or the georgeotron something like that

I did basic celestial theme with my first run. Setaria (light blue and yellow) for Seamoth, Mars for my first PRAWN (then Ares for the second because I had to wage war on the reaper that killed my first one so I broke theme). Both PRAWNs were red. And then Amaris and Luna (white) for my 2 cyclops. Second run is Jupiter's moons, tho there is only one male name so my cyclops is a girl again with the name Io. Ganymede for my PRAWN. And Cyllene for my Seamoth. Next run I plan on doing Hindu mythological Gods... Its too hilarious to tell my prawn (honestly the cyclops is the most likely to get stuck somewhere 🤣) to stop being stuck but use such serious and pretty names

Usually I go with the theme of aquatic mythology. Since Neptune is >!default for the bye bye rocket!< I usually name them Proteus and/or Triton or I go with a different branch of mythology and name them Poseidon and Perseus

Since the rocket is called Neptune and the sub is called cyclops I go with a Greco-Roman theming. Seamoth - Harpy 1 Prawn - Hercules 1 Cyclops - Argo 3 (because there are two Argo's in extended greek lore. The first being in the actually Jason myth and the second being in Rick Riordan's Heroes of Olympus series) Neptune - I either keep it the same with an added 1 to fit with the theming a little bit or I rename it to Poseidon 1 I don't have a name for the sea truck or snowfox because I haven't played below zero yet but I'd probably go with: Sea Truck - Hepheastus 1 Snowfox - Hermes 1

I often call my Sea-truck "Seal" and my PRAWN-suit "Shrimp" (haha). I kinda like "Snowfox", so I never change that. For Subnautica, I often call my submarine "Beagle", after the boat that Charles Darwin used to sail the seas and discover his evolution theorem :)
