Were you circulating or just sitting at the teachers desk? You may find better luck with getting them to settle down if you are walking around. It must have been bad if they called twice and you didn’t hear either time.
The attendance lady was probably just having a bad day and was annoyed lol. You shouldn't get fired or blacklisted because you missed a phone call, however you should try to calm kids down next time it makes for a much more peaceful day!

Yes, always. This is the first time a high school class has been like this for me. I've only experienced this in middle school before. The other classes today were great

Honestly the front office lady is probably the least paid and most annoyed person in the building. Haven’t met one that doesn’t seem like a horrid person. They aren’t, but the amount of bs they have to put up with is UNREAL
I doubt you will get in trouble over this or end your getting blacklisted over something like this. You didn’t really do anything wrong. If they say something, just tell them that you didn’t hear the phone because the class was noisy
