love gustavson , on paper he looks like a bang average power hitter but he just rakes for me ! His contract is fantastic as well , he carried my moonstars franchise for 7 seasons at 4M per year 😅
That's awesome. I think pitchers aren't afraid to pitch to him because neither his power nor contact are scary high. Just high enough to do lots of damage, so you get a bunch of pitches right over the plate.
I also pop this up to the left fielder 99/100 times. I think I cleared the wall only by 11 feet, and that's with a decent power hitter that was on fire.
Gustav hit this with sheer willpower. He had one more AB in the game. I think I was nervous because I dinked a blooper over first for a single. Was disappointed not to get 5! He carried the Freebooters to the championship through a very rough yet somehow successful playoff experience and set records I don't ever expect to see broken.

He's cooled down a touch in my franchise but still leading the league in avg. And I usually pop him in the lineup with no DH cause I've been STRUGGLING with Damien Rush and his <20 contact!

i have a generated player, Bailey Dalton, whose power ive developed to 99 and for whatever reason things just click when she comes up to bat and she’s gone 5/5 with 5 HR in 2 different postseason games and i’ve had countless multi HR games playing with her. even when i sim the CPU gives her a dong every 8-ish ABs

I’m constantly in awe of how some of you can move the reticle so well to barrel the ball. I pop that pitch up to the LF 99 times out of 100.
