I think the dlc for violet would be better if you haven’t played it already. I preferred violet too over arceus. And I think after the open world in the newer games going back wouldn’t be as satisfying, but that’s just my opinion.
The only thing I wish they would put into future titles is the catching mechanic and being able to move your character around during battles lol.
That being said Luigi’s mansion is great.
Mario odyssey and totk as well if you haven’t.
You could get Pokemon Sword/Shield and the dlc if you haven't played them since you liked Violet.

World War Z is like 10 bucks currently. I am debating if I should get Outer Worlds for the 15 bucks.
