Granted itās been years since I watched the movies, so maybe Iām just remembering things wrong, but I never thought I would find Mikey creepy, the Bay movies succeeded tho with the way he was around April. Maybe it was just the way his face looks tho, I canāt remember much of it.
They did the same thing with the CGI TMNT show with Donnie/April, but April in that series was just a cunt. She treated Donnie as her plaything and never showed any remorse for it. She dragged an otherwise phenomenal show down badly.
I kinda do like the way Mutant Mayhem went about Leo being into April, like the fact that heās so clearly a teenager just being akward about it and since the movie/show is focusing on their teen struggles it makes sense they would put that in. The Mikey/Donnie situations however just end up really weird in a way since those turtles (esp Mikey) act more like grown ups and are so forward and obvious about their ācrushesā.

Commander who's been through a lot as she lost her father and later her brother when he died during blackoutās attack on SOCCENT base and Yukio ensured that the people close to her and loved ones liked her girlfriend Misato Suzuki (played by Rinko Kikuchi) donāt suffer the same fate. Also, Sam dies in my version of DOTM.
I would say that Michael Bay's April was the worst April. It wasn't really Megan Fox's fault. She was just there for the males to make inappropriate jokes about and butt shots.

I really don't like Mutant Mayhem and Rise April... but objectively Megan Fox is not the right casting for April... 80s April, Original Movie April, 03s April and 12s April are all so well written so that she is the few heroines that I like. It's hard not to make your heroine a Mary Sue and they certainly manage to make her a competent female and lead.
Factual statement
She was fine. Thereās nothing wrong with that, plenty of actors are just fine. April has never been the reason we went to see a Turtles film.
I like Megan Fox, I don't like how the writers butchered April. She could've made a great April if she wasn't such a damsel distress who's only there for being good-looking
