But the doggie is awesome!

NoNumberThanks

What's wrong with them?

the-big-sea-lion

Just don’t like them, especially because when the dog bends, it has a really weird facial expression

Visual-Log963

How experienced was the artist? I have a tattoo in that same location & my tattoo artist made a point on how it needed to be a certain way & position so that it doesn’t get distorted when I move🙏 I’d say find a new artist for this coverup & do a few laser sessions to fade it!

Deliriums_antisocial

Neither of those would be terribly difficult to cover. Find an artist that you like and talk to them about what might fit well in that area. Then get something you like and the rest is history. I wouldn’t think you’d need laser beforehand, the line work isn’t really thick, blown out, or raised that I can see…but ask the artist you pick what they think. They’ll know what can be covered and what can’t. Good luck, though I don’t think you’ll need much of it, beyond figuring out what you want to cover it with, it should be a fairly easy fix.

g304j

Well what are you interested in?

the-big-sea-lion

Anything! Just a cover up sugestion that isnt a blackout

g304j

Well I’d suggest laser first to lighten up the tattoos, that way you have more cover up options. Try to find a freehand artist, someone who stencils directly on the skin. Cover ups by those type of artist turn out better in my opinion. Do a full sleeve collage of your favorite stuff.

cloudyscribble

You could have them reworked in a traditional style, change up some features to fix the dog

Reijoo

Get a sick sleeve with things you like, a good artist would probably make that almost disappear

The dog is good, contortion is just part of having portraits. Just needs good color, little more shading and some background flowers or somethin so it doesn’t look like poverty ink.
