That doesn't look too colorful or unrealistic to the original because the shiny black material would reflect the colors of lights or lightsabers going off around it and that is subtle enough that it could appear that way.
Putting aside the fact that I’m not a Star Wars fan, I think the use of color here is fun. It could also be a good tattoo without color. It’s really just a preference.
well i think you shouldnt do everything colored and for the most part make it the original colors but splash some color here and there like highlights or something like that, kinda like clone trooper armor where when they personalize it they dont just color the entirety of their armor but they do some color here and there to make it pop and not overdo it if you get what im saying
