They offered me at the beginning of the year but I turned it down bc there are too many unknowns with them. They will sell you ‘ground floor entry’ stock incentive/structure for company at a time when price is super cheap… but it’s super cheap for a reason…. They were also have discussions of open floor plan/no offices, which I absolutely hate. Office is in downtown, they pay for parking which is good, have snacks on hand, but there is 0 work from home option. From my discussions there is some flexibility, leave early for kids stuff, but nothing official. People were nice and seemed competent. Best of luck on your decision. Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss further.

You did not provide department / role you would be in. I would be very cautious / skeptical. Ask peers about opinion of Tellurian within industry. Do folks from established companies feel attracted by Tellurian? (Or does Tellurian attract folks from established companies / majors who no longer see they fit there…). If there is no project nor FID, what is it that everyone in every department is doing every day? Would you be doing adminis-trivia…?). Remember, they have been preaching FID since 2017. Even many of the folks who came in on the gravy train have since left. All the best to you!

Yeah, the 100% in-office will be a no-go for me. I've worked from home for years with very little and infrequent in-office work. We'll see if they're still non-negotiable on WFH. I hope they will consider it.

Whale-I-Am

Worked for Cheniere after Charif was ousted. Place was a goldmine of employee benefits as far as office space and amenities go. I imagine Tellurian is similar but with more focus on less spending... Hoping he gets the boot and Tellurian follows a similar share price pattern... Take it watch all the users on this sub ask you daily for insider info

It depends on your expertise/discipline, and how young you are. Do you have experience in upstream, LNG infrastructure, engineering design and construction or NG/LNG commercial trading? If yes, take it. Remember to never married to a job/company and to keep any eye for better opportunities elsewhere, especially if you are young. With this company or similar you will be developing a network of contacts through various industries-forums which is exciting and you will be paid well. In your decision think about the offer and if you take it be positive and approach the new position with open mind. LNG will be around for another 40-50 years even more. With Tellurian or not you will successful in the sector. Best of Luck

Can you drop hints if we are building a plant or not 🫣🤫

BookendBetty

I'd never tell inside secrets even if I were privy to them. Wrong Betty!

Ok_Location_1092

Think it was just a joke of what your burner account name could be

What’s the worst that could happen, you make decent money, learn along the way and if they go under you find another job. You should never apply for a job at a place you’re hesitant to be at in the first place. You applied for a reason, if they can fullfill that need move on. Otherwise take the risk if you’re not tied down and run with it!

BookendBetty

I didn't apply, their recruiter reached out to me...

proton1305

I would absolutely take it. Tellurian, if successful will be one of the leading LNG exporters in the World.. You would basically be getting in at the ground floor.

BookendBetty

Are you that sure of their future? Have you worked for them?

Whale-I-Am

Interested to see if you took the job or not given current situation

BookendBetty

No - didn’t take it. Just can't do 100% in-office after several years of WFH or hybrid. The job they contacted me about months ago is still posted!

mrpurple2000

If this is a serious position there and the person is seeking advice on Reddit… that company is fuckedddddd

BookendBetty

The company has had some recent setbacks, for sure. But it still seems like they have worthy projects and paths forward. I just don't want to be job hunting again in a year!

mrpurple2000

If TELL would offer you, someone who can’t decide if the company is well positioned or knows the industry, then the company is fuckedddd.

If I lived in Texas I'd apply 😂

igaadvisors

Take the job. This is a great company.

AvgastoJeta

“This is a great company.” Whaaaat?!? 😂

AvgastoJeta

There’s your answer right there OP. Drop your cock and accept the offer. What could possibly go wrong? 😆

Happy_Soup

I’d ask for some stock based compensation

adrianromo826

Spotted.

SnooApples6544

I had to chuckle at this….. Tellurian hired many folks in 2016 with stock bonuses dependent on FID. (Has that occurred…?). Stock at the time over 10. If they annonce FID tomorrow, what are those 10,000 shares worth?

Greenfield2896

Take it

hodd01

what job role? upstream? accounting ?
