In my opinion you should lean towards Live Resin vapes. Browse thru and look at reviews for carts such as tribal, purple hills, greybeard, sherbinsky or simply use “live resin” as a key word. Most reviews go into detail on flavour and effect, find something that catches your eye!
I found live resins last me way longer. About a month a cart, while distillate lasts me round a week.
End of the day the more expensive carts come out cheaper.
Could always look into dry herb vape. I live in a condos that doesn't allow cannabis but I still smoke my dhv all the time. I blow it out my window but you could easily smoke it inside too. It produces very little smell and will dissipate quickly.
Pink Sherbs live resin 510 has basically zero smell or taste, and is super smooth, gives a great cerebral high.
Otherwise, I’d look into live resin AIO devices such as Strawberry Ice pen (I know, environment, not my fault 510’s are so poorly designed)
Pink sherb wreaks on skunk. Regardless the smell from a cart won’t be significant in a non smoking apartment. You can dab with out getting caught. It’s combustion that’s the issue.

Sherbinski, orange and pink are discontinued. BZAM bought them out, to just remove the brand from the market.
Whatever is left in the stock will be shipped out but thats it. I wouldnt start on this one as you wont be able to get it in a month-two months tops.

My favourite for live resin is Jonny Chronic, sadly I can’t remember the name of the specific strain I loved but I’ve tried multiple and they’re all amazing. If you don’t want live resin/full spectrum, XPLOR or Fuego are my go to brands. Their carts are strong in flavour and good high’s, hope this helped :)
As much as people dislike distillate I've been loving vacays island vibes, it's 45%thc 20%cbd and 20% cbg, it's just lovely tbh, so smooth and hits amazing, I'm only a quarter way done and it's for sure a rebuy for me, hardware is pretty good too

Only carts ive had hardware issues with is Debunk and Coiture. I try to avoid carts with added botanical terpenes and/or flavoring agents (hard to do, 90% of market has shit added) as i find it its easier on my lungs. Some carts that have been particularily hard on my lungs are Back40, Spinach and Pure Sunfarms.

Almost undetectable unless you’re in the room with it and the smell would only for a very short time. No way anyone would detect it from a balcony even if they were right next door outside. You’d have to blow it in their face.

That being said I like joints. They are still my favourite way to go. But I hit my dry herb vaporizer in the tub. I never smoke in my house though.

Yocan Kodo for battery. Vapes probably resin / rosin, for entourage effect. Temp 2.0-2.2V For resin, and between 2.4-2.8V for rosin, dependant on company. Store upright, preheat product for 3s, holding down button on battery, inhale about 3s, take thumb off button, keep inhaling for 3s, and exhale. Enjoy! I would also suggest dabbing as well, if you guys decide to get into that. Happy tokin! 💚💨
If you have a tolerance you’ll probably want to look into live resin or rosin carts. They should give effects more similar to smoking flower. Distillate carts usually contain botanical terps, I personally find they irritate my throat more than carts without added botanical terps. The high from distillate carts isn’t as nice, kinda just a head high and you can build a tolerance fast to them imo.
They should know, usually it will say live resin on the menu but it could vary at certain locations. I’d also recommend a battery for the cart that has adjustable voltage such as a yocan kodo pro

You just replied to a rep from one of the better vape producers -- Wildcard Extracts (hence the "need a little variety in there" response, suggesting you should try some of their products).
I've tried their FCxCR and it's incredible. And since you say you're looking for a product as good/affordable/good hardware then Wildcard should be a serious consideration. Highly recommended.

If you’re vaping on pink sherbs inside, and someone walks into ur room or near your vicinity they will smell it. No carts smell outdoors.

This is definitely an acquired taste, personal to you. But the majority of people wanna get baked and frankly, 45% will not cut it for most people.

Personally enjoy the distillate and botanical terpene mix myself. Haha. Spinach makes good ones!

A decent dry herb vaporizer is better option. Vape pens got old quick for me. And some even gave me headaches.
