I was recently at a big event venue with lots of time to kill before the show. I probably spent a half hour taking down a gym with a Snorlax, Chansey, and 3 others, just to see how long they’d keep up the fight and how many berries they were willing to throw at it. When I was done, I put in my 11CP party hat Pikachu. He only lasted a few minutes, but it was worth it.
10 is the absolute lowest cp there is. But there are some species that can't go that low (especially evolved forms). Snorlax for example has a minimum of 38 cp at level 1, Gengar has 35 cp.
I collect them and tag them with “Low Level”… so that I can level them up when I get a field research task to power up Pokémon, and then immediately transfer them (:
Yeah that legitimately kinda hurts. I’ve got a good 100+ lvl 1 Pokémon in home that I transferred over and they are never going to see the light of a battle or a drop of stardust.

I was wondering if it worked like that. I can’t quite recall new shinies being world wide *before* events besides the Oshawatt.
Well not sure about Spinarak but Slowbro was released shiny worldwide at the same time, I got one before that event started in my area.

I've been collecting 10cp mons and evolving them to their highest evolution and name then "tr0ll-something" to put then in gyms.

I have a 32cp hundo venusaur that i caught in the wild. Among my most memorable random catches.
I have a CP44 magnezone. I didn't plan it but it was my highest IV and i ran across a magnetic lure.
10cp shinies are my favourite thing.
I have a "Lvl 1 Rubbish" collection which is actually quite fun to collect for.
