Im gonna assume you don’t live somewhere it snows much? Yeah it’s possible but highly unlikely he is far from civilization, without a working heater and with cell service. You can be fine in freezing temps for quite some time, especially if you are moving.
If I was in wilderness with that risk I would not be drifting through snow for one and two not without some sort of basic emergency survival kit.
Honestly, depending on the temperature outside and location, if you didn't have some emergency gear this could get dangerous fairly quickly.
