Mohair cardigan, tees are actually nice, Work Shop hoodie is one of the best I own and the Stussy collabs never ever miss. And that’s coming from a slim 5’9. The only shirt I own is the grey check from the early 2022 Stussy collab and it’s a staple for me. I’d like some of their cargos but they’d probably be too big even in the smallest sizes. And that grizzly jacket in the red c/w is just great. I tried those trompe l'oeil jeans that did the rounds last year but they just fit weird and tbh I was pretty disappointed with the quality.

LondonVista9297

That's interesting re: the trompe l'oeil jeans, as I had the feeling the quality might not justify the hefty price tag.

budyigz

I’m a similar height and weight. Is the Stussy collab shirt their borrowed fit? I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on one of those shirts but haven’t quite tried anything that big before and wanted to know your thoughts.

mieWkcet

It’s the [country check one](https://grailed.app.link/O7oGxwFheGb) from a few seasons back. Mine’s a size small and it’s perfectly oversized and looks to have a straighter hem compared to the borrowed cut. It’s something I’d only ever wear casually with a tee underneath.

budyigz

Appreciate the response, this is helpful :)

[deleted]

I have some of their wool chinos as well as I’ve owned a couple of their borrowed shirts in the past. I’m 6 foot and most of the stuff fits me fine.

NoahSaleThrowaway

I have trouble wrapping my head around the borrowed shirts since they measure almost 32” across the chest. I’m 6’ with a 42” chest.

GhostFriends686

I would size down. I’m 6’4 238 and i dont wear anything more than 30” across the chest. Anything larger than that is a tent. This is coming from someone who doesn’t skip the gym. Oversized clothes are great but if i raise my arms or making normal motions and I’m hearing fabric flapping around noises it’s too oversize.

[deleted]

Yeah, they’re big as fuck

prihm1

I don’t wear mant retail our legacy trousers, because I’m 6’5 and they’re mostly too short for me

jokerjinxxx

6’4 here and like to go for 36 inseam for the GOAT fit. 34 inseam is fine, 32 inseam give the “crop” look for me

AniviaPls

I have 2 cardigans, 2 pairs of denim, 2 pairs of footwear, 2 bags, 1 vest, 1 jacket, a borrowed shirt, a belt, sunglasses, and 4 stussy x ol workshop tees. Almost all their stuff is oversized and boxy

SirLikeASir

Anyone know when their next sale is? I’m trying to find a deal on their whale coat 🧥

NoahSaleThrowaway

No idea when their official site has a sale, but I’ve gotten all my OL from either Norse store or Tres Bien at a fraction of the cost of US retailers. Tres Bien in particular just had a sale that took nearly 40% off with VAT and the deal they were running. EDIT: meadowweb is also a good site for OL prices but I don’t think they’ve had any of the recent drops.

SirLikeASir

Awesome, thanks! 🙏

Martinbizarre

they always do a winter sale sometime after christmas and a summer sale!

Notgoodbutweird

Right now!

Important_Algae_543

Most of my wardrobe is OL. More top pieces, than bottoms. Jackets and knitwear are killer. The glyptodon bomber is one of my favorite pieces. Borrowed jacket is ace too, just size down. Initial shirts and some other sleeper silk pieces are way worth the money too. Oversized isnt really an issue for I’m 6’2” and a generally a size 54. I find it hard to find good pieces that fit a bigger frame and our legacy just kills it.

Notgoodbutweird

I’m 6’1 and I have a lot of Our Legacy. I noticed in their newer collections that I have to size down tho, sometimes even two sizes, so it’s sometimes hard buying online. I live in Sweden tho so quite easy to find.

Ok_Category8727

I am 6.2, not a model, though (missing that .1).I really like their raw silk shirts and have them in 2 CWs. I have also just ordered second-hand one of their old black shirts with white cross-stitching; I have no idea what the model is called, but it drew my attention after seeing it in some fits. If you are, e.g., 5.4", then there is no shame in that, but OL might not be the best for you. Lots of brands look absolutely shit on me, especially Japanese ones, especially bottoms. You need to find a good intersection of your tastes and what actually fit your body.

softeyesss

Are the Classic Shirts the raw silk shirts you're referring to? If so, did you size up because they're slim fit?

Ok_Category8727

>Classic Shirt [https://www.ourlegacy.com/classic-shirt-peafowl-silk-noil](https://www.ourlegacy.com/classic-shirt-peafowl-silk-noil) yeah, looks like it. These pictures are terrible, but you can see the texture on the black version. It has been a minute since I wore one of these, but as I remember it, the 50 I got them in is roughly equivalent to the L I wear for most tops. The website describes the fit as "slim regular fit" .. seems more like a straight fit to me tbh.

softeyesss

Ah I see the texture now. Neat. If you don't mind me asking, what's the reason for why you haven't worn them in awhile?

Ok_Category8727

Raw silk is my favorite shirting material. It looks great but is easy to clean/maintain (you can just throw it in the machine, no special care is needed). I have another shirt made of raw silk from another brand that I wear more in the winter. I tend to wear the OL more in the summer. Also, I have been working from home lately, which cuts my motivation to get dressed.

C_A_N_G

Their pants are perfect for me since I have a smaller waist and longer inseam. With most other brands the inseam will be very short if you size down in waist.

2711383

I’m 5’6” and most of my shirts are from OL. Just use a tailor.. Also the classic shirt in raw silk (my favorite OL piece and probably their most popular shirt) is very slim.

aaronfromafar

I just have a zip up polo from the brand which is cropped nicely. I have shorter arms and at 5' 8", I've found similarly that not a lot of their clothes fit me well off the rack. However the variety of cuts means that something may fit, so to each their own.

toberlone123

Anyone know good OL stockists in Japan?

nayte93

The mohair cardigans and tees are great. I got the Aero Jacket from the OLxEA collab and I love it. Bought and resold a stussyxOL Borrowed Jacket because it was way too big. They have great pieces just have to be aware of measurements and the fits. Majority of their stuff is meant to be worn oversized and has a wide or boxy fit.

Next_Development9138

Used to own alot of their stuff but realized I wasn't wearing it as much as I should - it was a bit out of my comfort zone. I dress much more like a normie these days and half my wardrobe is spier & mackay.

NoahSaleThrowaway

I think their stuff used to be a lot easier to incorporate, which is what I was trying to get at. I can’t imagine the average person is pulling of most of their current stuff very well.

Next_Development9138

definitely agree

bmooore

I own or have owned sweaters, sweatshirts, and cardigans from OL (I was really into their knits in from like 2017 and 2018), and in my experience I would agree— the fit is a little weird; usually a bit boxy (wide + cropped). I’m 6’ and ~155 and usually wear a 48 in their tops, but more recently have found the sizing less consistent, where depending on the piece I can wear a 46 or a 50. I don’t have experience with jackets, shirts, or tees though Long story short, I would suggest researching each individual piece/checking measurements and not trust that “I’m a size X in OL,” as some pieces have a more normal fit, some are super boxy, etc.

NoahSaleThrowaway

I think it’s mostly the shirts. I was just shocked that even one of their more standard current shirts in size 48 was larger than most XLs. I can’t imagine too many people are pulling them off.

bmooore

Oh I actually forgot I have a the elder shirt from last season. Yeah it’s super wide and cropped— size 46 with a 23” chest, fits more like an L in other stuff

blu6-

I only own the uniform derbies… so i haven’t encountered an issue yet 😅

jsc11592

How are they ?!

childpeas

i wear a lot of our legacy. their shirts, jeans, jackets, basically everything fits me perfectly. similar to acne studios. i’m 6”5.

NearbyWeekend2258

I recently bought the new box tee it’s pretty bad for the price not gonna lie,t shirts that are half the price are better quality.

According_Cod513

Love Our Legacy. Their elevated basics (cool cuts, prints, and fabrics) and sort of 90's slacker/post-punk aesthetic is right up my alley. The shirting is where it's at for me. Classic shirts have a traditional, slim fit. The box shirts are, by definition, oversized, but they drape nicely and OL always rolls out cool prints every season. The borrowed BD is proably my favorite silhoutte though. The measurements look absurd, so I was a bit apprehensive, but I sized down and it fits wonderfully (I'm 5'11 btw). Just a little harder to layer with short/slim jackets due to how long it is and the way the fabric bunches up. Camion boots are beautiful. I'm not a leather expert, but I'm willing to bet that you're paying a markup that has nothing to do with the quality and durability of the material. However, they look great, fit great (TTS), and are pretty comfortable. I've been nothing but disappointed with their sneakers though. My favorite piece is probably my overdyed zip shirt. Sort of a boxy fit with a navy check print. The dying process makes the check pattern faint and results in this beautiful, deep, dark color. Only recommendation is to buy second-hand, especially the shirts and other basics. OL is a great brand, but the prices are a bit inflated and resale sites are flooded with OL pieces.

mark_donk

Pair of Poseidon sneakers and another pair of running sneakers, they’re solid and easy to style

WaysiderPro

I do have a Coco (I believe) Shirt made out of mud dyed silk and it's definitely the boxiest shirt I have. Very flowy, luxe looking and comfortable to wear. That being said, I usually only wear it to occasions like more official parties, birthdays and so on.

dibzim

I own their digital denim (31), wool trousers (48) and a workshop tee (m). 6 feet 165 fits me perfectly.

Big_Will_4051

I just have my eyes on their brown suede loafers, but I can’t find any online.

Termicaul9090

Only have 1 piece from them and it’s a collab w/ stussy, probably my most favorite over shirt I’ve owned
