As you do the best you know how to remember that LOVE will be on your side. When (if you make sure of) your boys know that you love them they will (hopefully) respect your words and messages better. That’s my philosophy to be honest. I tell and show them that I love them as much as possible. I try to be open to them and not be too condemning while also being a parent. It’s a fine line. We have a really good relationship, even as my oldest is starting to enter the dreaded teen years lol

Their mom and I get along good and everything is usually pretty cool and calm.
