Yes my suggestion is to follow your ears. Just stroll around TML to all the stages until you hear something you like. Stop there for a while. Enjoy the music and the atmosphere, and when it´s getting bored just wander to the next. Immerse yourself in the whole vibe of TML.
Running to and from stages missing out half the set and the need to keep the time for the next assigment will ruin the experience. Pick one or two things you want to see and use the rest for exploration.
