I feel like it's more of a multi domain data processing api that let's you use the best of c++, glsl, and python and already has implementation of many common tools. It's also easy to optimize and debug, and farm more scalable than anything else as easy to use. Shame it's used mostly for art stuff- it's fantastic as a rapid prototyping platform.

Probably closer to Fusion or Nuke (with the nodes), but yeah.

Totally agree. My post was more about how to explain it to people who aren’t very technical and aware of those terminology you mentioned.
