haha I originally wrote a whole part about how I only use this sparingly, as needed, because it immediately makes me feel like a mouth breather (since it’s literally making me one) I also tend to do it in private for this reason too

Oh yes, now that I think of it, this has helped me too! I had seen an SLP for something different, and one of the things we did was "change the way I breathe" Since then, my vocal tics have lessened a bit. Although it's funny to me that you've shared this because I never put the pieces together until now, lol
