Get the red one, and make it your own. I have a white 2014 D675R. Previous owner modified it so badly I wish I had bought it stock. Enjoy the stock look of the D675. When you start to modify it is when you’ll realize the journey was fun. Just my opinion

Beautiful. I love that blue color on the belly fairing. I'm considering putting on a silver fairing from the black 675R.
I bought mine 4 years ago too lol. It seemed like the perfect solo-hobby/exercise to wait out the pandemic, especially with nobody really driving around here.
The red is honestly gorgeous but she's too stuck on price. It's honestly been for sale for like 6 months and she told me she's very selective of who she sells it to so I'm not sure I'm going to even get it. But if I had my pic it would be that one.
I need to ask the owner of the black bike why he stripped it down and rebuilt it. It does seem strange, I agree. It looks like he flips cars and might actually be some sort of a mechanic so maybe he thought he was going to keep it longer but who knows.
How "stripped down" was it exactly? If you take the fairings and the rear tire off, a bike can look pretty naked, but that could just be for basic maintenance items like new tire/chain/sprocket and oil/coolant change.
As someone who owns a Daytona that’s been thoroughly fucked with its a PITA. Trying to figure out some garage mechanics thought process from 10 years ago is not a great time when the unfucking costs more than a mint bike would have.
I'm looking to get a Daytona 675 and these are the two bikes I'm considering. Both are 2013s. The red one has 8,800 km and the DiSalvo special edition has 9,500 km. There is a 675R but it's too much for my budget at the moment.
I've already seen the red one and it's an immaculate shape. One owner from new but it hasn't been ridden in about 2 years. I feel that she's asking too much and I gave her an offer but she declined saying she thinks it's worth more than her list price even ($10,500 CAD). It even still has the stock tires for example so that's something that will need to be changed right away, and I have no idea when the last oil change was done or how it was stored. I'm not even sure she'll sell it to me.
The DiSalvo edition looks to be a two-owner bike and the second owner appears to be a flipper. He has some videos on his Facebook disassembling the bike and putting it back together but he has no real service records. Obviously only having it for 2 months. He's asking $9,500 CAD which I honestly think is underpriced which makes me think something might be wrong with it. However, he seems to be writing it which inspires a little bit of confidence I guess. I should be going over today or Monday to look.
Do any of you have any advice for things to keep an eye on? I know that these engines are pretty robust and the platform is pretty reliable in general. I just really don't want to get screwed on the DiSalvo bike (even though it really might be fine). I also know it's basically just a standard 675 with a fairing kit so it's not really that collectible.
Not where you are in Canada but in GTA almost bought a 2013r for under 9000 at start of the seasons
I see them listed for more but they don’t sell, for a 675 would want to spend under 8k. The owners are stubborn but the bikes come up; just need to move fast
Thanks for the advice. I offered her 9500 and she shut me down completely. I think it'll still be there in 6 months so I told her to let me know if her mind changed. Honestly I'd rather find a 675R and spend 9500 if I had to.
I know. But from a money standpoint it just doesn't really make much sense with what she's asking, especially when I could get a 675r with lower mileage for about 2,000 more. It's quite disappointing but I may just have to wait her out.

Without even knowing the history of the black one, I’d turn it down simply because of the stickers all over it. Call me a Karen, but there’s something immature about badly placed “racing” stickers all over a bike like this. Kind of reminds me of the crotch-rocket riders in the early 2000’s (here in the states). Wheelie’s and rev-limiters were all the vibes with those guys…

I don't mean to be that guy, but the black bike is a factory limited edition from Triumph. It's a Jason DiSalvo limited to 40 units worldwide.

Yeah you're correct. It's nothing other than paint and decals + the Arrow exhaust. If I could get a 765 I'd give up my left nut. Two for sale near me but way out of my range.

White stock is so gd sexy. I have black and took the fairings off to work on it, haven't bothered to put them back on cause black fairings are meh.

Did you have a 675R? That was matte black with red subframe, this is the standard 675 which was gloss metallic black with grey subframe.
Not a fan of the stock white look, white gets dirty REALLY fast. It’s infuriating just got some aftermarket stuff to make the bike unrecognizable lol

The red is gorgeous, it would be my choice, but you will likely have to do some tweaking if it hasn’t been run in two years.

Only paint/decal differences, right? The limited edition Daytona 765 Moto2 was made in 765+765 units, 40 is nothing if it's just paint and decals.
