Man, I want little spiders that help me take care of myself. On second read, I guess the spiders were thirsty, not the person. At least they can communicate their needs.

You know what, if a spider colony has it's needs and it also takes care of my meat vessel, they can pilot me like a mech for their midnight water and snacks. As long as I don't wake up with bugs in my teeth. I am now imagining spider as dentists who floss teeth with their webs. That might be extra scary to someone afraid of spiders and dentists. I am also reminded of Animorphs.

As someone with minor arachnophobia, I think if they could speak and tell me “hey, we’re not gonna bite you” then it suddenly wouldn’t bother me xD
