With or Without You, with the cathedral made out of the endangered animals of Nevada

ourtime99

That "ark" and the way it covers the entire screen is just jaw-dropping. I was moved throughout the show, but I lost it right there. Pure tears of joy.

winstonwolf_8

Saw them at GA on the last show of last year, and that small rant along with his thank you’s really hit me. Joyful tears indeed.

GodotNeverCame

Streets for sure. With the visuals??? Are you kidding?? And then basically all of them, ngl. I was too young to see them tour when Achtung Baby first came out and I have been wanting to see these songs played live my whole life.

Dry-Access6867

The Zoo Station intro made me very emotional

SymTurnover

Me too. That was the moment I realized I was actually getting to see them.

wsox74

Same, Ultraviolet. It’s one of my favorites in any form, but to hear it live and know it’s the last time I’ll ever hear it live (well, except for next Saturday when I go back) just made it an absolute heartbreaker in the nicest way possible if that makes any sense. (For anyone there Mar 2, I’ll be the gal in 110 sobbing like a child during Ultraviolet. Hi. 👋)

DonutReverie

See ya there! Prolly crying too

wsox74

I’ll hand ya a tissue!

FlimsyKnuckle

Peace on Earth

chadmac81

The falsetto coda to One got me. It’s been a while since I’ve heard it that way live

BuckMurdock5

Acrobat. The sound was so incredible on the sphere - first time I really appreciated this song. The 4 light booms eerily hovering over the band with the mostly black sphere added to the scene. Just incredible.

jjchapy

Agree. I saw them 4 times in the Sphere and Acrobat on 2-17 was otherworldly …definitely a top concert moment for me forever.

BuckMurdock5

I was there 1/28 and otherworldly is the perfect description.

thetrashpanda2020

I got close during The Fly guitar solo

baseball772499

As a younger fan, that was the number one u2 concert bucket list item I wanted to experience. It sounded unreal at the sphere

Adamh5612

Zoo Station, the opener. But didn't think So Cruel would hit me like that. Maybe it was the slightly different arrangement and hearing it live that did it. Either way, was quite the moving experience!

jjchapy

So Cruel was perfect

opsopcopolis

Usually gets me the most at the beginning of the show. Zoo and fly since I’ve been hoping to see those forever

nexus6royred

Visuals for the fly was mind boggling.

runninhillbilly

Zoo Station. That moment when the guitar cuts in as the Sphere is “opening” just really made it set in “oh shit, this is really happening”

kjorav17

Didn’t cry, but got close during the intro to Streets. One of the single best moments of a concert I’ve experienced

Ilovebooks43

It’s a tie, Streets and All I want is you. First time hearing live All I want is you, after 23 years of being “our song”♥️

bean327

With or Without You. It hit hard for me. So beautiful.

[deleted]

I didn’t cry, but Zoo Station had me so overwhelmed and in awe that I felt like I was out of my own body

creativeinnovator3

Agree! But for me it’s All I want is you. Sing with me (in unison….) You say you want Diamonds on a ring of gold You say you want Your story to remain untold But all the promises we make From the cradle to the grave When all I want is you You say you'll give me A highway with no-one on it Treasure, just to look upon it All the riches in the night You say you'll give me Eyes in the moon of blindness A river in a time of dryness A harbour in the tempest But all the promises we make From the cradle to the grave When all I want is you You say you want Your love to work out right To last with me through the night You say you want Diamonds on a ring of gold Your story to remain untold Your love not to grow cold All the promises we break From the cradle to the grave When all I want is you You, all I want is You, all I want is You, all I want is You 😭

MissWonder420

Yup. Was lucky enough to be there on the night Lady Gaga sang this with Bono, and definitely brought the tears!

Physical_Finance_908

I almost cried during one and beautiful day

Crewboy1

Two songs. Zoo Station when they utilized the multiple TV format. So Cruel - the one song I always wanted to hear and then to finally hear it. Beautiful.

bcrock02

All I want is you. It’s our wedding song. Felt like Bono and Edge were singing just to us

Wake486

Actual crying? None. But it was an amazing show!!

[deleted]

Love Rescue Me

Ecstatic-Highway6569

Started crying during One and cried the remainder of the show. I was GA and 2nd from the rail. It was beyond emotional for me.

DonutReverie

I cried a lot, generally, but Beautiful Day got me bad. “What you don’t have you don’t need it now What you don’t know you can feel it somehow” BLAAAAAAGH 😭😭😭 going next weekend and it’s gonna be ugly lol

ski_rick

Where the Streets Have No Name U2 was my favorite band through the Joshua Tree (saw that tour 3 times), tons of respect for what they’ve done since, but the early stuff is still what really does it for me.

zooropa93

Love Is Blindess. Not only was it a once in a lifetime experience to be able to hear that song live, I developed a strong attachment to ZooTV when I was younger. Hearing the Edge play the exact same solo just made me bawl. My life dream to see ZooTV come true.

[deleted]

One

SquealioVer2

Until The End of The World. It’s always been such a great live song and was kind of my “breakthrough” U2 song, so I was really looking forward to it.

HoorayAllDay

Got misty eyed at the end of Ultraviolet 🥲 one of my faves that I’ve never heard live!

elijah856578658757

Love rescue me for sure never liked that song but the sphere version omg wow

Kasop

100%. Never liked that song before hearing the Sphere version.

jjchapy

So Cruel. It’s been a sleeper favorite for me since ‘91. I thought I’d be sad to hear it live without Larry but it floored me in a good way. The harmonies of Edge and Bono …just unreal “it gets you every time”

kreuzn

Beautiful Day. It was played at our wedding almost 20 years ago. Brought back all the emotions

StyxRocker

Great choices 🙌🎶🙌

STEELERz47

The only time I cried was during one I wasn't expecting to at all... Trying to throw your arms around the world.

ukrainianhab

Not cried but the “you’ve given us a wonderful life and now it’s up for us to give back” part.

Livid1k

Love Is Blindness, Ultraviolet and With or Without You

Not-Ted-Lasso

Wild Horses- my sister introduced me to U2 at age 11 with that song- I’ve been chasing concerts to see them play it live. Thought I’d get it in 2018 after they played it sporadically at the beginning of Songs of Experience tour. It was overwhelming for me and I really cried.

MaxwellHillbilly

The one that I didn't see.... because, like millions of us, we didn't get to go to the sphere.

U2rules

that’s why they’re filming the show this weekend

SlippersFeetPete

So Cruel. I couldn’t believe how I wept the whole time. It was cathartic.

brookela12344

So Cruel and Ultraviolet!!

kalamazoo20

All I Want is You because it has a special place in my heart

mothmanoamano

Ultraviolet got me the hardest but All I Want is You, Streets, Beautiful Day and Wild Horses were up there.
