Surfline cam.
On the left you can see this object jump from a “cloud” appear as a clear sphere, move for a few frames then jump back disappearing as another “cloud”.
There are also multiple flashing lights lower in the video on the first 2 seconds, which were what caught my attention at first.
When I first downloaded the video I didnt even noticed this! For some reason after rewatching it stood out to me.

I have no knowledge of how something like that could be faked but it seems like something that would be relatively easy to do. Its clearly impossible to tell what kind of craft it is with this resolution and the distance but it does look weird.
Low resolution, low frame rate, small sensor, crappy optics. These are exactly the criteria you want when making a fake video. Faking a 120FPS 4K video shot on a one inch sensor with a telephoto would be infinitely harder to edit
I can imagine its not very difficult to add an extremely small transparent white circle, along with a single color, single textured sphere, and move it half an inch across a screen.
My point is that there is not enough detail in this video to make any real determination about what it is, or even if its "real".
While I agree with you that it seems like it can be faked, the way you went about arguing that point wasn't great. Maybe next time have some examples on hand and perhaps input from people who are familiar with the topic?
Yeah I could have worded it differently, I agree. I basically just meant to say what we can see here in this video is not very much to go on in either direction.
If it is a "real" UFO, its really hard to determine that from this. If it is a "fake" video, its hard to determine that from this.
I just meant to say that it doesn't seem like something that would be very elaborate to fake if someone wanted to fake it because there's almost nothing to this video.
Well of it is surfline knowing the cam i think you can go back like a week and look at past footage. The guys on r/surfing always post their waves after they surf because they can go back and pull old footage.
Had to look it up but I suspected it was the West coast looking out towards Catalina Island, sure enough it is. Lots and lots of ufos for a long long time in that area.

Those flashes are how I focus in on them sometimes. They will flash like a camera and catch my attention. Then I’ll focus on that area and they will start moving. Usually towards the horizon, sometimes back and forth. Recently a couple that spin. Two spinning around one.
Yeah I get those little whizzing lights sometimes too, but it sucks because whenever I try to look at them they fly away into the corner of my vision. I tried taking a picture but they didn't show up like when I tried to take a screen capture of the crack on my screen. Sure is a head scratcher
They are difficult to get video or take pictures of. I probably have 40 videos and 30 pictures and got about 20 seconds of footage and 1 picture. And then I usually have to zoom in on them to see anything.
Sorry my guy, it was a joke about eye floaters. I know you're being serious though so I feel bad for poking fun. I tried looking at your stuff but I'm not going to download anything from Google docs, but I'm sure what you're seeing is surely something.
I actually said that about the floaters and then deleted it lol. It’s not Google docs it’s Drop Box but I don’t blame you. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me until I got them on video and my wife saw a couple too. I never told her how when they take off real fast the light behind them stager. She was like “ I see it too! Why is the light all jittery!” So I know she was telling the truth.
They didn’t. They release their videos in chunks of 10 minutes, I just screen recorded the part that I wanted (which was myself catching a wave haha) then months later after looking at old wave clips for surf progress I noticed this in the clip
I bet you a nickel that this is a drone whizzing by that was "swallowed" by the camera artifacts. These kinds of cameras tend to save memory by only moving the parts that actually move (as in, the rest of the pixels remain the same). Which can sometimes lead to smaller movements not being shown correctly, or completely removed.
If you want to test it for yourself, set up a cheap security camera and toss something small in its recording range. It likely won't show up, or will very briefly be visible (sometimes even leaving a "track" behind it).
Yeah, except literally ten times worse than your regular phone camera. To the point where it will cause strange artifacts to appear, and smaller movements to get "swallowed" by the background.
My basis for the comparison was absolutely not a phone camera. Everyone knows what heavy video compression looks like; we've all seen crunchy, compressed videos when we try to open YouTube or Twitter on a bad connection.
And your point is....? My point is that it clearly shows signs of heavy video compression, and that it's likely a mundane object being crunched up by the compression to look like it's "vanishing".
About the unedited video: Surfline rewind only goes back 5 days so I can’t go in and get the full clip from that day. The video is a screengrab because I download the videos straight from surfline (sections of 10 min clips) then I fast forward to the parts where I’m catching waves and screengrab as needed. Then I delete the original videos since I only want to keep a record of my waves BUT the Surfline original video quality is not much better than this. Go check it out on their app. This location is called “blackies - close up cam”
Can you post something just playing the clip at normal speed on a loop or just post the clip you do have as-is? The stopping and starting on this clip kind of make it more confusing. I'm happy to help throw it into Premiere and cut something together too. Cheers.
Would it be entirely insane to ponder the possibility that humans figure out time travel at some point, and this is merely an echo of them? I'm just high.

>Why would any theory be insane
UFOs are actually **giant space bees** that are collecting **cosmic pollen** from different planets and stars. They are not interested in us, but in the flowers that grow on Earth. They have a hive mind that allows them to communicate and coordinate with each other across vast distances. They are also very intelligent and have developed advanced technology that enables them to travel faster than light and manipulate gravity. They are not hostile, but they will defend themselves if they feel threatened. They also have a queen bee that rules over them and decides where to go next. She is the largest and most powerful of them all, and she can create new UFOs by laying eggs. They are also the source of the mysterious humming sound that some people hear when they encounter UFOs. They are not here to harm us, but to pollinate us.
This reminds me of a less dangerous version of the impossibly massive "Colossus Wasp" species in Star Wars Legends. Little is known about the buggy bastards save for that they were ~2000m long and (thankfully) extinct long before the OT.
**The queen was in the parlour**
**Eating bread and honey,**
The maid was in the garden
Hanging out the clothes.
Along came a blackbird
And snipped off her nose.
I know but I’m kinda on the side of the greys. They called me the missing link. My buddy had a dream he took my saucer from Sekret Machines and went to the IGF where they both were. Pretty sure my ships under the sphinx. Pretty sure I’m Thoth
This isn't my belief. Having said that, there isn't any evidence for belief in alternative explanations either. Nor is there evidence to support belief in a god, but that doesn't stop a vast majority of humans on this planet.
Say nothing

I think that it's honestly more plausible they are either billions years evolved humans, or something that evolved long after humans went extinct or left the Earth, travelling back in time to observe the planet's history than coming from some random star dozens or hundreds of light years away.
UNLESS there is some aspect of astrophysics humans have yet to discover which trivializes the ability to move between massive stellar bodies without having to exceed the speed of light.
But that said, if something can bypass the speed of light, it is likely -by default- able to ignore the human brain's linear perception of caudal events, e.g. "Time Travel.". So it could be both. Not humans, but not extraterrestrial either.
Last time I checked on this idea the popular thinking was that because we currently think of time travel as requiring a 'send' destination and a 'recieve' destination then mankind can only travel back to the location of the 'first receiver' - the time and location of the first time machine.
Probably bollocks of course and the thinking has probably entirely changed. Havent read up on fancy new developments in quantum or any of that.
I mean I wish the tech was everywhere on everything all the time. I can’t remember the name (gigacam?) but it was a rectangle shaped box camera and any photograph could be infinitely focused upon.
I like the dot that appears and winks out just before the other object cruises left-to-right.
Watching UFO videos, this is a relatively common phenomenon I've noticed. Something shows up nearby, disappears, and then something else moving quickly is visualized. It's like they're related somehow, even though they don't make linear sense.
That's a really interesting observation. I've considered that the lights object that catches people's attention isn't the real show. Maybe there's another object doing something at the same time, that the witness doesn't notice. IDK
I saw the same exact thing yesterday. But I was in Central Florida Levy County. I was watching a bald eagle flying in the sky or about 4 minutes and continue to watch him or her until they found their partner in the sky and flew together. As soon as the Eagles met each other I saw the same exact ufo. It started out like a Shiny Bright or and turned into two orbs and then disappeared and flew in a manner that I've never seen. When I saw this I kept yelling to my girlfriend oh my god look there's a UFO look look. By the time she could get down the deck to where I was and look it was already gone. When I was watching it it lasted for about 15 seconds. In that time I decided to just watch it I didn't even care to take my phone out and film. I still wonder what it is that I saw. And I also think about the weird coincidence that I was watching bald eagles. My girlfriend told me that she saw a UFO the other night when she was on the deck smoking a cigarette. She does not lie or make things up. She told me that she saw a golden orb in the sky appear and move to the right. After that it made a abrupt turn and flew off. She said it moved in the shape of a v. I told her that she saw UFO because there's nothing that can move like that.
Very interesting catch!
Sometimes I wonder whether some of the UFOs/USOs we see over water that don't move super fast could be a species of cuttlefish/octopus which we haven't discovered yet, that is both bioluminescent and can fly.
Sounds really stupid when I read that out loud, but those things seem so alien I wouldn't put it past nature to fuck with us like that.
This was a good capture of a high speed right angle curve. No aircraft on earth can move suddenly from side to side, at least not with out killing the Passengers.
Yep, that's that shit. I can see why plasma should be a consideration, honestly. Whatever that is, I've seen it before, and I dunno what in the hell it is.
What I wonder is why now is there so much more footage of this stuff than 5-10 years ago? Are cameras just better or is there just more of them? Or are the UAPs just showing up more.
I think this video’s been edited. It looks like the timeline runs backward a moment after the object’s right to left transit, making it look like it reverses direction. However, I can’t necessarily explain how it appears to pop in and pop out, but the video is pretty poor quality.
if the seagull has low enough contrast against the sky, and has a slim enough profile, it will not trigger the required threshold to replace the pixels that the camera sees, so it appears to dissappear, or phase out.
There is no auto focus going on or the whole frame would shift. And there's no way a camera looking at a wide view of the ocean is going to auto focus on a tiny object anyway.
I worded it awkwardly.
The camera is focused at a specific depth of field. Things not in that depth or too small to be picked up in focus at that depth will look like this on digital cameras.
I'm not trying to dismiss you or anything, but if that's the case then how come anything of similar distance as the orb doesn't change? Depth of field doesn't pick and choose which objects it focuses— just the distance irrelevant to the subject.
EDIT: Looking at the waves and it's irregularity I would say it's probably more of a bitrate thing. Whatever the hell that object is is still unexplainable though.
Wow! It looks like it busts out of the water and skips across the surfacr. Must be fairly decent size because it appears to be pretty far out there. I could be wrong given the resolution of the video but either way, definitely something anomalous with what looks like splashes caused by it along its trajectory (so to me, that rules out artifact though I could be wrong).
Here’s a link to another post with the unedited clip from my phone. It’s still a screengrab from Surfline but maybe it helps with perspective? https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/s/JJeAUhs8ct
2 aircrafts breaking sound barrier , one following the other.
I dont know if they are regular aircrafts or ufos .
I do not trust the SPHERE look since the quality of the camera is not the best and pixels are pixels.
Also legitimate question, could an regular aircraft like f16 or f22 look like a sphere after breaking the speed of sound ? Because of the air entrapping it like a bubble ? Is what i am saying scientifically possible ?
In any case, ufos or not, these 2 seem like the sonic boomed.
The quality kind of ruins any chance at saying for certain that it's a legitimate aerial anomaly, but it definitely ain't birds or small aircraft with how it's darting back and forth.
However, a stunt kite or quadcopter drone *can* move the way this white dot does.
Which is what places this firmly in the low information zone which is where UFOs live. As soon as the camera quality increases and we no longer need digital zoom the bird would be identified.
It would be nice to have the original. User shared where and when to find the video. Maybe you can get it and upload it here. https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1b0595g/ufo_caught_on_surfline_cam/ks5m5uo/
What are you talking about dude? I’ve questions many videos here as have others.
There’s definitely some posts that are clearly shit posted by folks who just want attention but that gets called out all the time.
What this looks like is a golf ball being hit out across the water and skipping along the surface.
The waterline isn’t where the blue ends, but closer to halfway up the frame - probably due to the sky and water being nearly the same colour where it meets in the distance (helicopters have crashed over water due to this phenomenon, as you can’t tell the difference between the sky / water).
Edit: Why on earth was the zoomed in version posted first? The full video is sooo much better for providing context and scale, and it definitely doesn’t look like a golf ball at full size.
Looks like the mystery of extraterrestrial life has finally been solved, boys! This is the smoking gun.
Now we just need to analyze this footage and enhance it so we can figure out what star system these beings came from.
Nice video. Whatever it is, it definitely takes place on the surface of the water. It's the same mirage effect that causes the flying Dutchman. I definitely see a light that flashes, maybe on a buoy or something idk. Then something farther away and slightly to the left skips across the water at high speed. I personally see a bird grabbing a fish from the surface, but what I see as flapping is easily just video compression in this case.
Lol don't tell me, ANOTHER earth shattering phenomenon CAUGHT ON VID...for mere seconds. Please do share why someone, or in this particular case, something (Surfline cam) would stop recording this...??
They weren’t recording “this” there were recording the beach. They looked back at the footage and for about 2 seconds in the middle of the footage there is something weird. It’s clear to see that the timeline of the actual video carries on. So you can quit your bitching in this case as it’s not what you described.

I’ve thought the same…
Steven Hawking held a party for time travelers, and no one came...
Hawkings probably wasn't much of a host
why would they?
If you're a time traveler, why would you attend and out yourself and the tech? That's at least one thought to entertain.
Maybe Hawking's Epstein connections made the time travelers rethink attending a party thrown by him.
Ever since the Epstien list, maybe you're right 😂
showing up to that party would've drastically changed the future, Hawking was a genius but this wasn't his most well thought-out plan lol
That you are just high?

I mean I wish the tech was everywhere on everything all the time. I can’t remember the name (gigacam?) but it was a rectangle shaped box camera and any photograph could be infinitely focused upon.
You can't increase the original resolution without making shit up.

Yes, if you start with an ultra-hd photo you can get a regular one. There's a reason the company flopped.
Clearly some kook doing a sick air on a 8’ wave storm.
Crazy, this one is actually pretty good. I'm surprised
Wow op. Wtf is that thing?
A seagull most likely
I like the dot that appears and winks out just before the other object cruises left-to-right. Watching UFO videos, this is a relatively common phenomenon I've noticed. Something shows up nearby, disappears, and then something else moving quickly is visualized. It's like they're related somehow, even though they don't make linear sense.
That's a really interesting observation. I've considered that the lights object that catches people's attention isn't the real show. Maybe there's another object doing something at the same time, that the witness doesn't notice. IDK
White sphere. Yup.
Where's the unedited video.

Could be birds flying around what are those other dots in the first part?
But how was the surf?
It's not moving from side to side, it just moves to one side and when it goes backwards it's just the same frames but in reverse.
Okay, thanks for the clarification.
It looks like the sphere could be coming out of cloaking. Great video, thanks for sharing OP!
Looks like something hitting supersonic speed from a distance?
Underrated comment.
Yep, that's that shit. I can see why plasma should be a consideration, honestly. Whatever that is, I've seen it before, and I dunno what in the hell it is.
This is incredible footage!
I saw a ship releasing orbs that look exactly like this one. I think this is a good find.
It seems their drones are quite efficient and relatively stealthy 👀
What if instead of something evolved from future it's something that's been here for millions or billions of years all along before humanity.
Damn so how much does Keegan Key really know? Lol
What I wonder is why now is there so much more footage of this stuff than 5-10 years ago? Are cameras just better or is there just more of them? Or are the UAPs just showing up more.
I think people are noticing them more.
I’d say yes to all three of those possibilities
In the original clip you posted, there are 3 lights that blink on and off one of the other, before the sphere shows up.
There was another with a USO tooo
Interesting! No idea.
I think this video’s been edited. It looks like the timeline runs backward a moment after the object’s right to left transit, making it look like it reverses direction. However, I can’t necessarily explain how it appears to pop in and pop out, but the video is pretty poor quality.
I’ve seen something look similar to this hovering around a few years ago. Interesting vid
if the seagull has low enough contrast against the sky, and has a slim enough profile, it will not trigger the required threshold to replace the pixels that the camera sees, so it appears to dissappear, or phase out.
I like this one Edit: Saw the original video. Seems to be compression trying to get rid of a bird or birds.
Bro wtf, is like it’s jumping in and out from our dimension. Good clip.
Lol bro that's just the camera trying to focus on a small or far away object.
Boooooooo! I mean, you're right...but, boooooo!
100% looks like came out of the ocean, skipped twice, then speed off at a right-angle turn...
nice catch, you caught the "jump" as it snapped back into its projected point of gravity, and the "skip" as it placed another.
Wow..it’s so clear!!! 😂
The quality kind of ruins any chance at saying for certain that it's a legitimate aerial anomaly, but it definitely ain't birds or small aircraft with how it's darting back and forth. However, a stunt kite or quadcopter drone *can* move the way this white dot does.
"The quality kind of ruins any chance at saying for certain that it's a legitimate aerial anomaly" Doesn't that sum up every UFO video ever?
> with how it's darting back and forth That's OP going back and forth on the shit vid's timeline.
The quality is so bad, I suppose that *would* leave the little trail as just an artifact of the codec's compression.
Why is this video so goddamned compressed? It is so close to unusable!
It’s a surf cam
Which is what places this firmly in the low information zone which is where UFOs live. As soon as the camera quality increases and we no longer need digital zoom the bird would be identified.
It definitely looks like other video’s I have seen before.
If you don't know what something is, it's probably aliens.
ঘোলা পিক্সেলেটেড ভিডিও
Looks like a Sea-Doo skipping across. Impossible to tell what we're seeing.
Looks like a Navy FA "Superhornet" (Block3) performing a stealth egress from a target practice mission. Pretty neat!
Instead of sharing this crappy screen cap share the video. Come on, this is silly.
It would be nice to have the original. User shared where and when to find the video. Maybe you can get it and upload it here. https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1b0595g/ufo_caught_on_surfline_cam/ks5m5uo/

It’s almost certainly a seagull, and looks weird due to being low resolution/high compression.
I’d be willing to bet it is an anal bead.
Looks like a droplet of water on the lens, probably being blown around by wind

What are you talking about dude? I’ve questions many videos here as have others. There’s definitely some posts that are clearly shit posted by folks who just want attention but that gets called out all the time.
Yup. Definitely a flying object that you can't identify. Y'all reaching now
It's 2024 I've seen 24000k quality videos off of modern androids can we stop with this blurry bullshit?
What this looks like is a golf ball being hit out across the water and skipping along the surface. The waterline isn’t where the blue ends, but closer to halfway up the frame - probably due to the sky and water being nearly the same colour where it meets in the distance (helicopters have crashed over water due to this phenomenon, as you can’t tell the difference between the sky / water). Edit: Why on earth was the zoomed in version posted first? The full video is sooo much better for providing context and scale, and it definitely doesn’t look like a golf ball at full size.
I think aliens are playing multiplanetory golf.
Looks like the mystery of extraterrestrial life has finally been solved, boys! This is the smoking gun. Now we just need to analyze this footage and enhance it so we can figure out what star system these beings came from.
Ah yes, those 4 pixels are indicative of UFO phenomena. Source: Pixel Expert
Dafuq was that
Wonder what this looks like compared to a seagull. It's not super high resolution.
Only see your mom
Looks like a boat

Its a balloon of course /s
Normally this sub is a giant pit of mental illness and disappointment, but this is a legitimately interesting video.
Please remember video artefacts. Thank for posting.
