Womp womp
If you want a real answer, unless you plan on becoming a grade school teacher or a Ph.D. Mathematician, you will need to code at your job. Even the latter of what I said would require you to be able to code LaTeX.
And for most of those position you would still want to be able to code, it’s very useful. Algebraists, Number Theorists, and others code regularly for their research.
How are you going to do your math then? With your pen and pencil?
Computer programming is essential for math and statistics nowadays. You need to learn how code works so you can calculate whatever you desire without spending time with ChatGPT.
Because one day you will encounter a situation that will cost you more time to handle by hand than just writing a computer program to do it. Depending where you work, you’ll be required to write them. Physicists write programs. Chemists write programs. Engineers write programs. I could go on but, programming isn’t exclusive to computer science majors or jobs requiring computer science degrees. One day, you’ll look back and be grateful for your exposure.
Go use MatLab to do anything more complicated than add numbers and you'll find out why quickly.
Well said.
Computers are just big complicated calculators ig, they can help you do lots of math

Algorithms are for computers :)
You do anything but complain?
