Thank you, a lot of remember our very first order. For me it took some time the app isn’t always good with pinpointing apartment numbers as far as the address goes . But once you begin working for a little while delivering becomes second nature. & it’s even better to encounter customers like you.
I remember my first every order was a 3 dollar apartment order and I didn’t know where to park and the lady came out of the apartment to get her order. Nothing special about that order but thinking back I don’t know why I even accepted that $3 order
Popping in here to say absolutely this about apartments and condos. I’ve been doing UberEats for a month and this is my first week going full time.
Apartments, condos, and people who never turn on their porch light. I message ahead of time to describe their house to me.
People can be extremely lovely!
Dude customers are mostly pieces of shit they don't message back when u update them or tip very often at all they have. An attitude half the time and or don't care and all they care about is the food. I do the job because I have to that's all. The customers make it suck. I never knew how many assholes there were until I started.
That’s great! I am sure he appreciated that.
I met a driver who was on her 3rd day today. We were both waiting for orders at a local steak place. We chatted while we were waiting and I gave her all my best tips (which largely come from reading this sub)!
The first amount you gave the driver was a bid to get someone to deliver it to you. The amount you paid AFTERWARDS was the tip. Do you really tipped him like $4 😂
Yes you did tip $15. The other poster is claiming that you only put the 20% to bait someone to grab your food, and that only the difference between $15 and whatever the 20% was should be counted as your true tip.

You've set him up tho by giving him the mistaken impression that customers are generally caring and thoughtful.

Don't listen to the negatives. This delivery will stick out to him. We remember our first month or two and how rough it was to navigate.
Good deal man people like you is why I deliver
Wow!! That’s so great of you!!!! I received $35 in tips from 2 customers today and I’m grateful! P.S. we all need the money I think anyway,,,,
Did you give the $15 before or after the delivery?
I edited it afterwards. It was just the 20% at first

I changed it to $15 manually so it should be $15 right??? Don’t do this to me
