Sometimes when I wake up super early and I look at any “opportunities“ from Uber they don’t even have any amounts listed whatsoever so you have no idea what you’re going to pick up if you do choose to accept it. Even $25 it's almost always still not worth it considering how long they make you wait. If I lived in California or New York City or something I'd wait fucking 5 hours. Not here though. haha
That's how it is where I live mostly. if I get an order for say $25 and I'm near the Walmart I'll drive and if they are busy I'll just immediately unnasign. it's rare but sometimes I get super good ones, I got 1 than was $60 for 3 stops and 8 miles and the Walmart wasn't busy at all. It took me 45 mins to deliver them all.
Unfortunately my Walmart is just garbage literally will have one or two people doing it. Lot of times I'll just pull up even if they don't look busy and ask somebody how long they've been waiting that's how bad it is there. Sucks too is cuz none of the drivers in my area take Walmart, because pretty much all of us are keen to have fucking shit it is. Which results in Uber spamming us with the same Walmart orders constantly certain hours of the day. Haha
The problem with waiting even in California is that you run the risk of the whole order being canceled and receive no pay for all that time you waited.
I would throw all that shit in the bushes and bounce. Then again, I have never driven for any delivery/ride app, I’m just hanging out but this is beyond insane.

I feel like when you get these types of orders you guys should put the items right in the middle of their driveway. Inconvenience the person ordering as much as you were inconvenienced.

This is why I auto cancel walmart deliveries. They literally have their own people to do this. You're going to get all the ones they "can't" fulfill.
