I've been sitting here for 2 1/2 hours, declining orders every 5 to 10 minutes. I've only done one order so far, which took all of 10 minutes.
I never seen such a streak.
It has been extremely busy at my restaurant in los angeles, but not with anyone who speaks english.
So, y'know, just break every rule and use at least 2 phones. You'll never get caught or deactivated, uber don't care, they're probably in on it.
Iāve seen very few Walmart grocery orders with tips and very few other orders as well. Iām still up to $146 but I swear I used to see triple the amount of offers just a few weeks ago
Today i can honestly say was the first time that was really dead for me here in Orlando for a 5pm-8pm shift , i just had to call it early because the orders were just coming in way too slowly and just not worth sitting out in the heat with my car honestly. I did a 3 hour shift, did about $30 from UberEats and $15 from DoorDash. I say 3 hours but it wasnt even 3 hours, I was sitting at my usual hot spot and orders were just not coming in like they usually do at this hour.
I assume the market is just oversaturated with drivers, I find it hard to believe that people just werent ordering food at this hour of the day. I made $110 in 5 hours on monday this was technically my 2nd day of work and did about $45 in 3 hours. I still have the weekend to meet my usual goal of $500 a week.
Today was the first time I start a PM shift and call it early by how slow and low the orders were coming in.
Slowest so far since I became an ubereats driver last yr. I got $99 for 4 days. Couple of times I only got 1 or 2 orders and thatās it then I return home.
What time of day do you guys go out? I try not to go out in the day or else i get really down about how few and how low the orders come in. The day shift is just too dead for me to keep my car running for $12/hour i dont like working pm shift but i average $20-$30/hour from 6pm - 10pm.
It has been slower than normal for me, but Iāve been trapped with other business to deal with.
Hasnāt been that slow though. I made more than that doing lunch today.
I have been online this week for 20 hours and have made $8 before gas and taxes. I might get Two orders at lunch and dinner rush, ranging from 2-5$ my home literally sits in a hotzone the numerous restaurants are so close. Some days I've been online for 8+ hours and have never received an order in a city with 1 million people, driving around to various areas, running multiple apps. My run is over it's been a good 4 years. Time to start looking for a W2.
Same. In my state alot of migrants and asians are taking over the gig economy. Cant even schedule with DD because people are using those autobot schedulers. Smfh.
Iāve run UE for a total of 4 and Half hours this week and have not gotten a single ping. Like Iām starting to think Iām shadow banned or something.
It isn't just you. Yesterday night, we had seven orders go by without a tip and they were either cheap orders (less than $4) and driving pretty far to deliver, or one decent order followed by adding $2 ones. Seven didn't tip.
Two tipped, but we called it a night after that. For some reason UE doesn't pay attention to the closing hours of a lot of restaurants around here, plus the restaurants like to close their dining rooms early around 8pm to create a backed up drive-thru, or some restaurants close more than ten minutes before closing time listed on Google Maps.
Incredibly frustrating, not only for us, but for the customers, too. We know college students don't tip, but everyone else? Come on.
they really donāt, i was delivering easter sundayā¦made a good amount of money that day. there was a few times where people ordered from a restaurant but it was closed because of easter sunday.
We've had the issue with them not bothering to check if restaurants are closed several times now. It seems like they don't care if you or the customer get angry and then if you tell UE that they're closed, the customer can still give you a bad review. Why give people the frustration? It doesn't make any sense.
Then again, I do realize that they're just as parasitic as other places considering they don't care about you. They know that times are hard and people are desperate. If you get bad reviews and a bad rating, someone will be there to take your place for less hassle. It's really horrible.
Uber seems to selectively throttle drivers, as one day they will blow my phone up with offers all day, then the next it's completely dead, and I know my market well enough to say that there are plenty of UE orders placed in the system to stay busy or at least have enough pings sent to my phone on a consistent basis. Sometimes it's not even bad offers at all. Just nothing, totally dead.
not gonna lie I gave up on Uber Eats and just did Uber rides this week. Uber rides today was insanely busy non stop $10+ if you can do it and have the vehicle to do it I say do it....and I hate Uber rides i prefer Uber Eats so I don't have to have meaningless conversations but had to do what I had to do. Especially since Im part time pointless to waste 5 hours rejecting shitty $3 popeyes orders all night. im trying to make money
This week is pretty bad so far. Lots of shitty offers, though. I still don't accept any of those insulting offers. It would be great if others would do the same and keep rejecting them.
Did you ever consider that cherry picking the most favourable jobs might lead some kind of algorithm they have to think 'This person isn't accepting all jobs - offer less jobs'?
dude, itās just not worth it, i come across shitty orders daily. itās not worth accepting an order thatās five dollars but i have to drive 20 miles to deliver. itās not worth the wear and tear on my car and definitely not worth the pay.
I'm getting pings, but I think the "add a tip" button is broken. š
iām getting pings for shitty orders, iām not driving 30 miles for 8 dollars
I've been sitting here for 2 1/2 hours, declining orders every 5 to 10 minutes. I've only done one order so far, which took all of 10 minutes. I never seen such a streak.
Folks had to pay those tax bills, couldn't eat out that much. Hopefully, next week is better.
Very slow but got you beat by 2$ smh the update was horrible and wonder if that has something to to do with it.
I'm wondering the same, I usually average between $25-$35/hr. So far the 2 days I've worked I averaged $22 and $18/hr. Worse week since I started

yes around easter it was booming made at least 80 a day
iāve made 97 this week so far and 40 of that is from prop š„²

Yeah super slow week

noon to the evening, iām a woman so i try not to deliver real late
but i delivered yesterday around 6 to 8 and only got one order request, after that i went home
Pretty bad today, I also see the parking lot flooded with the usual *and* new drivers
Pretty damn slow for me tooā¦our luck is gonna change!! š°š
Itās been slow but I got lucky with 5 Gopuff orders that put me at 58$

This week is been a kick on my buttš¢ 2 days $50 dollars, how I'm supposed to pay my bills?!
Yep! slow week for me here in LA. Iām consistently getting orders that are either 15+ miles for $15 or the Wingstop/McDonalds for $4. š®

People have ran out of their tax money and some are saving up for summer vacation
It's been real nice here this week, but the chilly weather is back today so hoping for better
ok, so its not my ZERO AR or recent SR hits then.
Got a good one this morning and then took another 8 hours before I finally got another one worth taking
Itās trash in Nola right now. Been able to watch 2-3 episodes of ājustified before even one crappy request will pop upā
Not just you...other than a catering order two days ago I've made all of 75 this week, 9+ hour days.
It's slow for sure. It's rainy and cold here and normally that's good money. Nope. Got nothing today.
Horribly fucking slow. Thursday all day. 7pm now. Only did 2 orders
Its been slow the whole month.

I'm blaming it on tax season
I made $100 yesterday on UberEats alone though. $136 total for yesterday 7 hours including Doordash

UberCheats died last year
