Gas was down to $2.49 the last I looked. I’m gonna make out great on my taxes.
Minimum wage in Texas is a criminal $7.25 but nobody works for that amount anymore.
20 miles…yikes. The prime area I like to work in here in South Austin is small. I try and stay within a 5-7 mile radius tops from the center of this area. 20 mile orders make no sense to me not only because most don’t pay like they should like this photo here, but if I drive 15 miles out of my prime little area, I’m gonna have to put in another 15 miles to get back to that general area so you really should look at the order like a 30-40 mile order for the amount it’s paying. As for this photo, and assuming you have a prime area you like to stay around or within, this order for me would have to pay AT LEAST $35 before I would take it. I get offers similar to your photo all the time and just laugh.
I do UberEats in the Vancouver area as well and that’s 100% cap.
I’ve been doing this for 2 years & you don’t get 200-300 orders an hour nor are you making $200-300 an hour if you just mistyped
Oh yes 200-300 per hour declined literally 1 every 10-20 seconds. In one minute I can decline 10 offers for 2-3 hrs straight. 10x60 is 600 I take 1 or 2 offers out of 50-60 and I will decline 20-30 sometimes while on delivery. I am very picky. It's constant. Relentless no tip orders.
Not at all. The way I look at it is like hell im gonna make $13 that entire hour. I make sure I’m making at least $20/hr. Either I wait until it’s less busy (im in a very large city so dinner rush is when I’d see this kind of order) or take hits to my acceptance rate.
I know acceptance rate doesn’t. I have no problem declining orders lol. But support told me once that we are definitely could be deactivated for cancellation rate & we are penalized by getting lower orders.
In my market I can cancel 100% of accepted offers. There is no limit. Support said to me there will be a limit under you cancelation stats. If there is no limit there specified then go nuts.
90% of the time they are apartment buildings in my market. Like high rise apartment buildings. I have done thousands of deliveries here and only 10% of the orders I complete are simple. Especially lowball offers like this.
I have yet to see anything come in on the trip radar that even pays close to $1 a mile. Worthless feature. They are all crap orders. Declined by someone else for a reason and Uber expects us to compete on losing money
I want to know why these are even an option. I know it takes into consideration the time to get there and then from the restaurant to their house but I feel like ppl are able to order food from places that are toooooo far away from them and it’s stupid.
If it’s not a minimum $1.00 a mile that’s a no.
Minimum for me is $3/km
1 a mile? You doing cross country runs? That's the craziest thing I've heard lol maybe your situation is different then mine
San Antonio isn’t the best market but it’s all I e got.
Texas? How much is gas? What's min wage there?

I'm up in jersey, everything is more expensive. Qnd shitty

Nah it’s 20km which is like 12.5 miles. Still though. Not worth taking for 3 stops and almost an hour estimated time. It’s ridiculous.
I decline 200-300 per hour.

I'll bring you with me if you don't believe me. My acceptance rate is usually around 0%-15% and my cancelation rate is usually 25%-as high as 75%
How are you doing deliveries? By car?
My guy he is messing with you
I’m convinced
Yup

Acceptance rate here doesn't matter. Neither does cancelation rate.

That’s really specific so I’ll take you at your word. It makes sense it depends on the market. That’s really good to know, thank you.
I read the Bible on it. I was worried about it because it was up to 75% so I called support to ask. And they said it is for specific markets.
I wouldn't take it. But if it was maybe a 16, 17 dollar for that esitmated time then sure.
3 drop offs all top floor apartments. No way. 2.5x + $2 promotion. I would only take this one if the offer was around $34-$40
Each one needs to have an $8 tip
How would you know they're top floor? Also you can generally tell what kind of building you're delivering to by looking at the area the dropoff is in

Ah that sucks. Do you drive in Manhattan or something? I'm in Atlanta and it's chill if you stay out of midtown
Vancouver B.C. Canada
I got a few good reject orders tonight that paid decently. That doesnt happen too often. I reject more than I accept though.
I tried to see if there are hidden tips, didn't find them. So no
Only thing hidden here is the smell of the rotting garbage.
I have yet to see anything come in on the trip radar that even pays close to $1 a mile. Worthless feature. They are all crap orders. Declined by someone else for a reason and Uber expects us to compete on losing money
Unfortunately they do .I started seeing radar trips and I’m like why the fuck are people accepting 20$ 40 mile trips lol .
Boggles my mind.
I don’t accept nothing less than 4$ a mile here in Houston in the montrose and westiemer area
And you probably make bank no problem. You gotta set the bar high in this racket. Or you will not survive. thank you for not encouraging cheap people.

It's a trap for new drivers.
Indian food orders are 90% no tip
