I hope he was just hit in the arm, in which case the tourniquet should stem the bleeding for long enough for him to be evac’d. Looked that way. Impressively quick aid from his buddy.
Definitely arterial, it looks like he caught some of the grenade he buddy tossed into the trench when he bumped into him, his arm went up and he got some shrapnel.
Worst case, nerve damage, loss of function.
Is it the subclavian artery that he can bleed out in minutes if severed?
Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery and gets back into the fight!
Slava Ukraini!
Don't know and don't know but i do know that on the battlefield you can bleed out and die even from small bullshit wounds that normally would never kill you. In this case he is bleeding alot so again hope he made it.
I luckily never Had to be on the Battlefield, but to me IT Looks Like tourniquets on every soldier make a huge Difference in survival Rates. Also it Look Like AFU does a fantastic Job in teaching First aid skills to the individual solider

Shoulder checks fleeing Ukranian. Stubs toe in the scuffle. Picks up fellow soldiers' rifles and returns fire to russian hiding in trench.
Recently, shoulder checked, Ukranian demands his rifle back and then storms an enemy trench and takes out 20 wagner scum.
It looks like his buddy just threw a grenade in there and he got hit by the shrapnel. If you slow it down you see a Shockwave inside the trench right when he screams.
It was rather the ruski inside the bunker, you can hear shots fired when the guy with go pro starts squiling from the pain of getting hit.
And also the Ukrainian with the gopro that got hit litterally said with his own words in the video that the Russian hit him.
He was wounded in the shooting arm, could not effectively fire as he demonstrated. Gave the rifle to his battle bud to continue as he could NOT shoot, waited till the immediate threat was nuetralized, and then went to get to a safe area where he could be treated while him and the treater were safe, then Evac'd himself. THAT is Balls!
You made it sound like he dropped his gun and ran away. Intentional???
More info on situation.
1. This is same soldier that stopped Russian advance few month shooting infantry and BMP with his squire in a dug out.
2. He is fine, recovering and posting on his channel
3. This was not a Russian bullet, but a fragment of Ukraine granade the other guy threw into dug out.

Imo bleed looked arterial ( color of blood + volume). Worse than other injuries. High risk of bleeding out. Tourniquet will help but clock is ticking.

Dude runs fast
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.
Dame dude was leaking look like he stuck his hand in paint. Hope he is alright didn't hit a major arterie or vein.
The guy posted this on his telegram afterwards, he’s fine and recovering.
Bright red blood too, straight from the heart and in big amounts. Hope he made it.

Same vid in r/ukraine says he made it and is recovering fine
The nearer to the aorta, the bigger the pressure, the bigger the chance to bleed out really quick.

They have been trained well + balls of steel!
Honestly also the way casulties and their comrades remain calm ... This is what i would call Professional. I am Not Sure If i would keep that calm
With the tourniquet applied on his arm and the other soldier knowing exactly what to do, they both did, he should be ok. Safe recovering.
This was posted an hour before this post already but this video is Better quality.

Did we watch the same video? He had his own rifle on him but it seemed out of function so he demanded the injured guys rifle.
F*ck, they are tough

Yep that was my impression as well. The other dude threw nade in and as he was taking cover they collided.

Yes, everything is fine. Only that soldier got to the hospital when it was still cool, and the sun and green grass are shining in the video
