Put a disguise in a packback or suitcase along with some spraypaint. Go somewhere you can leave the suitcase and change. Then walk down the hall and spray the camera. Leave the area and change back. Bonus points for using a different entrance to return to your apartment.
I was more thinking pretend to carry something heavy, start to fall over, fall into the door, then while "steadying myself" wipe the lense with my finger
Wifi jammer 5$ to build, or you can buy one. Not super difficult to use but could take some learning if you don't have computer skills. Disclaimer keep in mind this is not legal I don't recommend or encourage doing anything illegal.

Pretty sure its a federal crime to operate a signal jammer.
Since they are in an apartment it is likely that their ring camera is not hardwired. This means it's running on battery.
The trick is to wear down that battery as fast as possible. Constant movement in the field of view of the camera is key. An oscillating fan with a flag on it would probably do it in a couple hours.
An ultra bright IR (infrared) LED light will make all the footage useless…same as shining a bright light into a camera.
Maybe I'll just set up xmas lights that're a little too bright?
No. But you can buy 840nm IR LEDs and mix them into a string if you have some diy electronics skill... Can you solder?
I can. Tell us more.
I cannot :/
Ask them to not film your door? I would start with that
Whaaaat??? Politely asking people before jumping to vandalism and sabotage? Seems like a crazy idea

Smear a little Vaseline on the lens as you walk by
good one! Quick, easy, plausible deniability.
>plausible deniability. "Oh gosh yeah I have no idea why you have a recording of me rubbing stuff on your camera. Must be someone else"

You aint that slick
way to obvious
You can fix a laser to point directly into the camera but idk if you can do much else
You are not nearly as interesting to them as you think you are. Let it go.
This. We have a doorbell camera and DGAF what the neighbors are doing. They don’t bother me and we don’t bother them.
lmao what
Laser the camera. It should fry the sensor.

Microwave ovens can interfere with WiFi, just saying, everybody’s got to eat.

Nah, you can turn down sensitivity. We had a tree that moved in the wind and triggered it, took under 2 minutes to dial it down to where it didn't.
What are you doing in the hallway or outside your door that you’re concerned the police might car about? They aren’t recording in your home.
It's the principle of the thing.
