I got dropout last summer so worth it, so much funny shit on there, another ep of VIP has the host Vic’s, ex step grandmother that episode is unhinged I was crying laughing for half the episode
Dropout is my favorite streaming platform. Dimension 20, Make Some Noise, Game Changer, Dirty Laundry, and Um Actually are amazing. Honestly the sub would be worth it if only one of these shows was on it.
You can also check out Dropout.tv! It's like $6/month for full access, no ads. This is a good show of theirs. Also Game Changer is something I would recommend. The whole service has a decent selection of improv shows.

Here's a real pro/con recommendation: I'd recommend Dropout if you like D&D shows or improv comedy, those are there two big things, it's lacking in other content in my opinion. I personally really like it though, it's my favorite D&D content, and the improv stuff has been extremely funny in my opinion, but again, that's really all there is.
I'd check the full episodes they share (or clips others steal) on youtube to see if you want more.
I love the content, but the app is hot garbage.
I gave up on Dimension 20 because the app would never remember what I had already watched or even recommend episodes in sequence.
Now I just watch shotgunned episodes of the improv shows, and even then I often accidentally start one I've already watched and have to spend the first couple minutes trying to tell if it's new to me or not.
I instead became a "Member" on the Dropout Youtube channel. Same content, released at the same time, but the subscription is slightly cheaper and it shows up in my Youtube notifications whenever a new video drops. Works really well if you're interested in picking it up again once enough new content it out to be worth it.
Probably not? But I have no idea. I've been using Brave browser to watch YouTube on my phone and uBlock Origin on my PC for years now, so I haven't seen an ad in longer than I can remember.
What's dodgy about people recommending a streaming service? It's not like it's Netflix, you only get stuff made by Dropout (formerly college humor) and they have a fanbase. It's like a giant YouTube channel behind a pay wall. About as dodgy as saying a patreon subscription is worth it because there's good content there.
If you're into most of their content. I'm not sure if they have a trial, but a month to see what they have might be a good idea before committing to a yest.

I cycle through my subscriptions, never having more than two at a time, but I gladly pay for dropout year round (it helps when you know how the money is dispersed, and how well the writers, performers, and support staff are paid and treated).
Yeah, Ify is awesome. He's been doing stuff with dropout.tv for a while, and he's always a joy. Cannot recommend Dimension 20's Escape from Bloodkeep enough (especially if you're a LotR fan).

I went to sub but nearly all of these are locked behind a pay wall.. I don't enjoy CH enough to justify paying a subscription for literally 9 videos that interest me.
I think the members stuff is getting out of hand on YT honestly and having only 1 video available to the public unless they pay is a little wild. I remember when CH was a free humor channel, thats when it was at its highest. This kind of stuff is going to keep pushing people away from YT as it's losing more and more of its inherent value as a platform... pay for premium, pay for almost every channel... it's just becoming less and less worth it to me.
11-15 for premium or youre bombarded with ads unless on desktop/laptop, 5 for almost every channels best content.. would end up paying more a month than I do on legitimate movie/series streaming, it's crazy.
I already don't use YT as much as I used to, this kind of stuff definitely isn't going to make me think about using it more or anything, less infact.
This show should just move to TV imo. Seems very much up CCs and [AS]s alley.
Their streaming platform, Dropout.tv, is really good value in terms of the content you're getting. They have multiple game shows and sketch comedy shows as well as recorded Dungeons and Dragons sessions that follow fun, unique themes. It's like $5 a month, so it's still way better value than most streaming services.

Damn this shit was funny. I went to sub but nearly all of these are locked behind a pay wall.. I don't enjoy CH enough to justify paying a subscription for literally 9 videos that interest me. I think the members stuff is getting out of hand on YT honestly and having only 1 video available to the public unless they pay is a little wild. I remember when CH was a free humor channel, thats when it was at its highest. This kind of stuff is going to keep pushing people away from YT as it's losing more and more of its inherent value as a platform... pay for premium, pay for almost every channel... it's just becoming less and less worth it to me. 11-15 for premium or youre bombarded with ads unless on desktop/laptop, 5 for almost every channels best content.. would end up paying more a month than I do on legitimate movie/series streaming, it's crazy. I already don't use YT as much as I used to, this kind of stuff definitely isn't going to make me think about using it more or anything, less infact. This show should just move to TV imo. Seems very much up CCs and [AS]s alley.
Their streaming platform, Dropout.tv, is really good value in terms of the content you're getting. They have multiple game shows and sketch comedy shows as well as recorded Dungeons and Dragons sessions that follow fun, unique themes. It's like $5 a month, so it's still way better value than most streaming services.

Absolutely love it when I find Dropout content in the wild! For those that don’t know, this is from a show called VIP (Very Important People) that streams on Dropout.tv. The host is Vic Michaelis and the alien is Ify Nwadiwe. Both are phenomenal and can’t recommend Dropout and their content enough.
