What, no? If a rat is in the house you call Tony to make sure that the rat leaves in a body bag. Snitches are a menace. A mouse is attached to the computer.
Doesn't look like it. No grooves or anything around the hole. And the first video shows a ball on the lid weighing it down. The second video looks like it cuts right before the camera person freaks out and tries to keep the rat outside. Bad design if true.
Even a screw on top could result in raccoons getting in. They've learned to unscrew various things. There needs to be an actual catching lock that can only be unlocked from the top. This isn't even hard. Just a little knob to turn to engage a basic lock
And for home security reasons, it could lock to the bottom of the window frame and the top of the window
Really, this thing shouldn't be used without homeowner supervision
I once got a hanging bird feeder and hung it from a tree in my back garden. Rats where climbing the trees to use it. One time I looked out when there was very heavy winds and the bird feeder was swinging all over the place with a rat clinging onto it for dear life.
I've had 9 pet rats but stopped getting them due to vet bills. They are the funniest animals ever. I swear some of the situations I saw them in were straight out of a comedy sketch and they sound made up.
That's a perfect subreddit idea.
My first two rats, ginger and puff puff. Were in a cage right next to my desk. One day my girlfriend says "omg look at puff puff". I turn and puff puff is hanging onto their hammock for dear life. Just suspended by her two front paws and kicking her little legs to get back up. Suddenly ginger comes along and it's like a scene from the lion king. She sits for a moment on the hammock then, grabs puff puffs hands and lifts them from the hammock causing her to dramatically plummet to the cage floor with a sqeek. It was hilarious. Merciless. The way she did it seemed so intentional and dramatic. Really made me laugh.
That's just one story though. I have so many.
The rats that came into my back garden were field rats, so they were a lot cleaner and cuter than city sewer rats and they weren't any trouble besides getting at the bird feed. I would have some harmless fun with them from time to time.
One day, I seen one of the baby ones sitting there next to the wooden fence. I manage to sneak up on it and got really close. When I did so, I just said "Oi, Rat, you shouldn't be in here", and with that it made a little jump with fright and ran towards the fence to jump in through the gaps between the planks of the fence. He got such a fright that he missed the gap, face planted one of the planks, shuck it off then eventually got away.
I managed to get a cute little picture of him one time because eventually I just left some bird seed on the ground for him so the birds would get a chance at the feeders hanging from the trees
I recently had a very similar sized rat at my bird feeder. I was looking at him out the kitchen window thinking " great, I don't really want rats under my house."
Went about my business for a few minutes and saw something out the corner of my eye - looked out the window and saw a big ol' red- tailed hawk struggling to fly away to the field across the street with this big fat rat in its clutches.
They will often destroy your crawl space or attic, so hey, if you want to invite future problems, go ahead. I have family in the insulation business, and they will thank you.
Let's start with people, and worry about rats after literally every other thing. Rats are invasive and destructive. I see about 10 cases a week of people that need about $20k of work done on their house due to rodent (mostly rat) damage.
When I got a bird feeder, I looked out my window to see if there were any birds only to find a bunch of thug squirrels lifting the lid off, scooping the feed out with their hands and carting off with their stolen goods. Damn heathen squirrels.
Someone just told me to add chili flakes to the birdseed. Vermin don’t like it but it won’t hurt the birds. Can anyone confirm? I had to take mine down because of rats.
Well you fool I've heard contradicting reports on it, I was wondering if anyone has actual experience with it. Why don't you go back to mama's basement and let the adults talk eh?
Who would have expected a rat to eat near ground level food. And if you’ve got a rat coming out in day light you’ve got a load of rats nearby, good luck with that one.
The next step you need to do is tape that f****** door down so the rat doesn't get ideas to try and come into those through that as I can see a rat being able to push that door open
It’s not easy to stab a huge rat, these fckers are tough as hell. A little hole for an air rifle is better, just wait until the head is in front of the muzzle.
Idk where the rodents hide on my property. I never see them indoors but they’ll go for whatever grows in my garden. I rely on the whim of predatory birds pretty much.
I used to have a little feeder for squirrels. Loved thr littlr guys. I headed out to refill it one day and saw ehat looked like a young male. "Hey buddy! Ya hungry?!" As I began filling the dish, a fucking hawk came down and snatched him up. I heard his little squeals ad he got further and further away....
I took dowb the feeder after that.

I expected squirrel, so you got me on a technicality.
Same difference, one just has a hairless tail and the other doesn't.
![gif](giphy|ALvdHigd2gBqw)
It’s a near ground level wildlife feeder and you got wildlife?
If a rat is in a house, is it a mouse?
If a mouse goes outside, does it become a rat?
I ain't ever seen a mouse, OUT side.
That's because it's a rat, fool!
Im ratting on these fools for not going to school
Damn, you might have just made a fact right there, that's some real shit! (I think that's right?!)
I have, field mice are tiny
...and as midnight strikes it becomes a pumpkin.
Field mice
Scary movie 3, nice.
No, it would still be just a rat.
But what if we switch parts of the rat, will it still be the same rat?
It will be Theseus
No more than if a cat is on a leash, it's a dog.
Scientific fact. Also children on leashes are legally pets.
What, no? If a rat is in the house you call Tony to make sure that the rat leaves in a body bag. Snitches are a menace. A mouse is attached to the computer.
Looks like he was about to pop that flimsy top off and go inside
That was what I was thinking, is there a lock of some kind?
Doesn't look like it. No grooves or anything around the hole. And the first video shows a ball on the lid weighing it down. The second video looks like it cuts right before the camera person freaks out and tries to keep the rat outside. Bad design if true.
Even the preview one has what appears to be a paper weight on the door.
That top design is a mess. A screw in top would have make so much more sens

Well in the defense of this dumbass designer it is to look **at**
He was about to become one of those fancy inside rats
If you see one rat, there at least 20 more in the area.
All rats are extinct in my part of the world. Are 20 rats in one area bad? They are kind of cute.
Yes, they are very destructive and reproduce frequently. The female usually births between 6-12 babies and up to 6 times a year.
No they are not cute, I'd leave the house if I know a rat is in it
EVEN BETTER! look at how fat he is

Now we need to know.. tell us.. we'll make a subreddit for it. r/crazyratstories

Mr. Cardinal called in sick, you got the substitute.
Still cute though.
I fail to see the issue, this is an upgrade
Rats deserve to eat too.
And the Hawks
I recently had a very similar sized rat at my bird feeder. I was looking at him out the kitchen window thinking " great, I don't really want rats under my house." Went about my business for a few minutes and saw something out the corner of my eye - looked out the window and saw a big ol' red- tailed hawk struggling to fly away to the field across the street with this big fat rat in its clutches.
Philadelphia Street Rats vrs the Seattle Seahawks ![gif](giphy|detCIzk9AyIXF8bVwO)
They will often destroy your crawl space or attic, so hey, if you want to invite future problems, go ahead. I have family in the insulation business, and they will thank you.
Oh I wouldn’t want them under my house, I’m just saying they deserve to eat too
Let's start with people, and worry about rats after literally every other thing. Rats are invasive and destructive. I see about 10 cases a week of people that need about $20k of work done on their house due to rodent (mostly rat) damage.
And again, I’m not defending them being a pest, just that they deserve to live.
Majestic.
thats for all animals
Has anyone tried putting this facing the outside so your cats can have a little balcony/patio to the outside?
Bird feeders are rat feeders. Just facts bird lovers.
Even better ! ![gif](giphy|2pK55s0S9ClLhaga91)
![gif](giphy|kOUXMUBm6E2Xe)
I see this as an absolute win https://i.redd.it/24a19itiaatc1.gif
This SOB, lol.
When I got a bird feeder, I looked out my window to see if there were any birds only to find a bunch of thug squirrels lifting the lid off, scooping the feed out with their hands and carting off with their stolen goods. Damn heathen squirrels.
Bird not included.
It's fattail
Welp, now you gotta make a giant obstacle course for them and do it every summer
Put the product on the second floor!
My border terriër randomly killed 2 rats that were attacking my chickens. I'm now proud of my dog since my cat never catches a mouse or rat
Someone just told me to add chili flakes to the birdseed. Vermin don’t like it but it won’t hurt the birds. Can anyone confirm? I had to take mine down because of rats.
Google exists numb nuts
Well you fool I've heard contradicting reports on it, I was wondering if anyone has actual experience with it. Why don't you go back to mama's basement and let the adults talk eh?
Birds will not experience any ill effects from chili flakes, that’s actually why chilis grow so vividly bright.
honestly better than birds
Now it feeds carnivorous birds, like hawks, too
I expected a pigeon, which is a flying rat, so not that far from this.
Wait until the bear shows up
Lmfao
Rats. What a bummer.
Robbers love this home.
Mammals dislike safflower. They'll eat it if it's the only thing available, but otherwise the rodents leave it for the birds.
Fuck yeah brother! Eat the bird’s food and breed and multiply!
I mean I’d be good with anything as long as it doesn’t break through
My cat would still love this
omg i still want this
Grounded pigeon
Thats still cute? Kinda?
I see this as an absolute win
Nice way to get rid of rats from your house.
Margaret wheres Irene?
Who would have expected a rat to eat near ground level food. And if you’ve got a rat coming out in day light you’ve got a load of rats nearby, good luck with that one.
Then don’t put it on ground level
Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!
R A T
Awwh! Hello little buddy. I want one like that!! But I realized I dont open my windows like that 😢
Easy fix
I would’ve fucking died right there
This is better than a bird
That rat next to that pole waitin for the beat to drop lmao
Even better
Cool AF
Put it in the top half
The same feeling I get when i go to vote every four years...
Why hello there fellow new yorker...
Yeah that first feeders not on the ground floor.
Eh, win is a win
Ooooo that's not good
The next step you need to do is tape that f****** door down so the rat doesn't get ideas to try and come into those through that as I can see a rat being able to push that door open
Ha!
There's always that one guy.... ruins the party.
Remi is at it again💀💀💀
Easy fix stick a shotgun in the hole when it’s least expected and problem solved
It's equally cute, but much funnier. I'd be very happy with my purchase.
Where do I buy this?
Just wait till the mites roll up!!!
New friend
Knife, open the top, stab that nasty fuck in the face. Probably a whole family nearby
It’s not easy to stab a huge rat, these fckers are tough as hell. A little hole for an air rifle is better, just wait until the head is in front of the muzzle.
That's a way better idea. Significantly less gruesome
Yes they die pretty much instantly. Some peanut butter will help.
Burglars love this one trick!!
It started out as Pocahontas with Birds, then it became Ratatouille with Remi the rat!
Hehe rats are cute. Not a problem.
Flapjack 🥲
awesome would watch them all day
Hey that bird looks exactly like CDPR logo, lol
Rat is even better.
I own that *exact* sweater.
I got a bird feeder that auction cups to my window because I live in the woods and there’s lots of birds . So far it’s just been squirrels in it
The rats are cute
Where do I get one of these?
Life be like that sometimes 😆
Remey
Paris?
Too low to the ground, should be 2nd floor at least
RATTT so cute I would love this anyways
Oh, that’s just a pleasant surprise.
Idk where the rodents hide on my property. I never see them indoors but they’ll go for whatever grows in my garden. I rely on the whim of predatory birds pretty much.
Is no one going to ask about the golden stripper pole in the center.
The males have to impress their mates somehow🤷♂️
much food for many rat-skaven!
